persoanlly, a general rule of thumb for me is if smoking isnt permitted (within reason) or its generally taboo to smoke in a area, I dont vape in a area. IE, I'll vape in a bar (and if asked ot stop, will do so), but I wont vape in a grocery or electronics store. In a park? you bet. In the car? sure. In a box with a fox? you betcha.

Airports I would perosnalyl avoid, but only because airports are so strict nowadays. Hotels are iffy too, because if the hotel considers vaping as smoking and you vape in a non smoking room, you can potentially see a rather large unwelcome increase in your rooms fees.

Resturaunts I'd stealth vape simply for the courtesy of other patrons.

but, thats me and my paranoid self ^^

I don't even ask anymore. Around here half the people I ask haven't a clue what the policy is or even know what the hell I'm talking about. If you say "e-cigarrette" they turn their nose up after hearing the "C" word and their first instinct is to say no.

I just move off somewhere and stealth vape. Sat on an isolated bench in a mall Sunday and I think I vaped a 50ml bottle while my wife spent us into the poor house.

So yeah... I'd try it in a corner somewhere. Worst they can do is make you load baggage for the day.
