The store near me sells 20x Kangertech coils and comes with cotton for only $5

it says they are 0.5 ohm

will this be good enough for an RDA I have no experience building my own

Which RDA?
Maybe you could take it (the RDA) into the store and see if a coil fits.
Cheers

I can only run those coils at 10-15W? I'm used to running my vape at 80-100W my box goes up to 220W but I never go above 120W

Does this mean I'll have to buy wire and make my own then?

Although currently I'm using a tank and store-bought coils (each thing has 4 coils inside one) , I don't really know much about RDAs, will I be able to run at a lower wattage with more power?

Appreciate all the help

As far as I know Kangertech only makes coils to fit their tanks, such as these:
$8.38 Authentic KangerTech SUBTANK SSOCC Coil Head (5-Pack) - 0.5ohm / stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
If your store is selling these for $5 for 20, they are most likely not authentic coils.
For an RDA you would want something like these:
    $6.11 Kanthal A1 Pre-coiled Wire for RBA Atomizers (100-Pack) - 24 AWG / 0.5ohm / 0.5mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

That was confusing me as well when I first read this. A Tsunami 24 does not take Kanger factory coils, and I've never heard (so it's not impossible) of Kanger branded loose coils for use in an RDA/RTA before.

@Raymundo Domango you better check just what it is they're selling. 20 Kanger coils for $5 is no bargain if you don't have (or want to get) a Kanger tank.

Here lies the problem with calling replacement / replaceable heads, 'coils'.

I took the OP as meaning bare wire coils to be used in RBA applications needing to be mounted in rba base pulsed & adjusted to glow evenly then wicked before use.

Sure, ready made bare wire coils can be just as good sometimes better depending on experience/ skill level than self wrapped coils.

They vape the same as any other bare wire coil if they fit into your deck.
They come in all sorts of diameters number of wraps wire gauges & types & of course resistances.
Some come in all sorts of fancy types.

Where are you located? you can order 100 ft of Kanthal or SS for $5 with free shipping from Temco, and Muji or Koh Gen Do Japanese cotton from Amazon with a bag of ~100 pads for ~$10. Both work great.

If you want to buy the other stuff from the store for starting out it's fine, but for stocking up you might want to look at those things online. Good luck!
