Hello, good morning everyone.
I currently run Petri Atty with a Snow Wolf 200w.

Local vape shop built me a dual micro coil build which reads 0.49 ohms on my Snow Wolf.
Does this mean they used two 1.0 ohm coils to net out 0.49 ohms?

Or have they used two 0.5 ohms? If they used two 0.5 ohms, shouldn't it read 0.25 ohm ish on my Snow Wolf?

Thanks in advance.
I am just really confused.

Yes, two 1.0 ohm coils will make an overall resistance of 0.5 ohms. The mod and battery can't tell how many coils there are, it only sees the overall resistance.

if the coils are set up in a parallel manner.... 2 1 ohm coils will give a net resistance of .5 ohms... if those same 2 coils are put in series, they will give a net resistance of 2 ohms.... so if you think about it, a coil with 7 wraps is in all actuality 7 single wrap coils in series...
