Can somebody recommend a compact tank system for a relatively new vaper?

I'm seriously considering the kanger protank mini (or possibly protank). Now, this is a carto tank, correct? And the evods that were recommended in the first few replies are clearo tanks? But this will fit only Evod batteries? Or Ego batteries? What does ego and evod mean? I'm just trying to get a handle on what type of battery I can look at for which type of head. I'm sorry to keep asking all these rookie questions... I'm trying to use google as much as possible to get a grasp of all these options, but there's SO much information all scattered throughout so many different threads and pages and whatnot.

Sorry to keep bumping this thread... I just want to make the most informed decision possible before I invest in an entirely new setup.

If you really want to stay compact, look at some of the mini-tank options. They can even work on cig-a-like batteries. The best I've come across are Halo's, but they only work on 808-threading (which is a good thing if you are sticking with mini-batteries). If you want to stay 510/ego and go a bit bigger, there is the ProTank mini and Vape Only BCC mini

A carto tank will have a cartomizer in it. The protank and the evod are both bottom coil clearomizers. Evods have eGo threading. An eGo type battery has both 510 and eGo threads. The female threads in this pic is the 510 and the bigger male threads are the eGo. I have wicking issues with both bottom and top coil clearomizers so I like my carto tanks.

Here is a carto tank:

I get the sense that you are looking for something a little smaller that will work on 808 batteries. Kanger T4s (also sold at Halo as the G6 mini tank) holds about 1 mil...is thin and light. Kanger E-smart clearos are like a smaller CE4 and hold 1.3 mil...is just a little larger than the T4. Both of these are inexpensive.

Kanger 808D-1T4 Clearomizer

Kangertech E-smart Clearomizer

The E-smart is cheaper at Vaporkings...just posted the litcigusa pic cause I'm old and lazy.

I was actually going to suggest the mini tank from Halo. I've been vaping for more than six months and have quite a few mods and plenty of egos but I picked up a mini tank last week with my monthly juice order and have been very impressed by how it performs. Here is a pic next to my zmax mini for size comparison. By the way my zmax is a pretty small mod.

Whelp, just in case anybody's interested, I decided to go with an ego battery with both a Kanger Protank and a Smoktech tank system. I'm very happy with both. The ego batteries are actually much slimmer than they looked to me in the pictures. So now this'll likely be my at-home vape, and I'll keep the V2 batteries with the clearos for on-the-go type stuff.

That having been said, on an unrelated note, my last order of e liquid has a kind of funky taste... Sort of put a damper on things. I'll let it steep a couple days and see how things turn out.
