Can somebody tell me the difference between cartomizer ,atomizer ,vaporizer ,tank ?

Hi , I just started to vape since mid last year , I used to have couple cigarettes a day , now I can have only one for a day , thanks for vape .

But I'm still confusing about what's the difference between a cartomizer , a vaporizer ,and an atomizer , or tank ? I spend sometime on eBay to do my homework , but I just got more questions instead because obviously people on eBay listing with all kind of misspell whatever .

I have been trying to browse some big sites for more knowledge . Anyway , I would much appreciate it if someone would just tell me the difference is .

Hello and welcome to ecf.
An atty is the heating element that vaporizes the ejuice.
A cartomizer is the atty + some battin material(sometimes cotton) that hold ejuice in for a longer vape(until ejuice gets low in the battin)
A clearomizer is the atty+ some wicking material(usually sicilka(sp) or cotton.
Than tank is what hold the atty+battin material OR atty(coils) + wicking material.
A vaporizer is the whole set-up---e.g. the battery + the topper(as described above)

Here goes the quick version- someone will give more detail I'm sure...

Atomizer= an open device used for dripping. It is essentially just a heating coil with a covering which you drip a few drops of juice onto, vape it, drip, vape, drip vape...

Cartomizer is an atomizer but it is encased and contains filler material. This filler is soaked with juice so you do not have to constantly drip, use it till it runs low on juice then either refill or discard (depending on whether its refillable or not)

"Vaporizor" I'm assuming just means PV or Personal Vaporizor which is just the device used to vape- the battery or mod

A tank is just a large vessel to hold larger (1ml+) amounts of juice. Inside is some type of wicking material and heating coil. Some can be like a cartomizer inside a tank, some have wicks that draw juice from the tank.

As i know clearomizer and cartomizer same they complete package allow you can plug directly to battery/battery mods(like ego type 510, nemesis, zmax, smoktech magneto and other mod variants)…


Clearomzier is cartridge and atomizer but with clear tank so we can see we liquid low or still fully filled

Tank/cartridge is eliquid home

So,
* Drip trip + tank/cartridge + atomizer = cartomizer/clearomizer
