Ok..I am dense and thick...LOL...I am confused about the sit n go pass through...Does it have a battery in the cord?

I have a PT I got from Cignots and the stinkin thing died after 2 weeks...it has a battery in the cord section...that may need replaced and i ordered a replacement today BUT I really dont want to tinker with replacing batteries every 2 weeks...SO....

I am thinking about the 5v PT from madvapes so I dont have to mess with it LOL...But this sit n go sounds interesting....

What can you all tell me about it?....Please no crazy mah-volt watt talk...I dont understand it! LOL

This is a normal 510 battery... but has a USB plug option in the end of it. No light.

The 510 battery unplugs from the passthrough (the cord will charge up the manual 510 battery while you use it as a passthrough). Then you can unplug it and go out with it without it being plugged in or use it as a Passthrough in your car, unplug it when you go in somewhere.

It also will screw into your regular battery charger. Nifty!

It doesn't have an inline battery like your CigNot one did.

If I still used stock batteries/passthroughs, I'd get one.

Ok..THANK YOU so much!! I get it...LOL....I actually just got done ordering one...One more question...

Does anyone know how long the battery lives before its toast? If I kill another PT in 2 weeks I am going to have fits!!! LOL...

Maybe I'll order the 5v PT that doesnt have an inline battery..just to be safe...LOL..

the 5v PT from madvapes is the bomb. I ordered two and they sent me a free 10ml sample of very berry and it was outstanding (may it rest in peace) it's now long gone. I really didn't see the point in having a PT if it still included a battery. Eventually the battery will die so what is the point other than that you don't have to swap it out onto a charger. There was a 5% off coupon code (strell) but I don't know if it's still working or not. It was a couple weeks ago.

Ok Brad---You just convinced me ( it was hard to do wasnt it! LOL)

I will order the 5v PT next order / next week ( my husbands gonna kill me-maybe I'll hide some of this stuff LOL)...

Will my laptop be sufficient to use that with?.

Oh man...I hope this sit n go pass through doesnt break/die right away...That'll really freak me out!! Grrr!!...

I get so frustrated dealing with atty's-batteries-cartridges-fillers-chargers-grrr.....LOLOL..and I get really REALLY mad when I have to smoke a stinky cigg because my PT died and I forgot to charge my batteries...oops...LOL..

I use the DSE901 and there's a real difference between my 5V passthru and the batteries. That's why I plan to get the sit & go and a 510->KR808 (seems better to get that vs. the 520->901) adapter. I don't want my passthru vaping to be different from normal use. I do like the extra kicks strong flavors, tobacco, menthol, some chocolates get from 5V but as a whole I prefer 3.7V. Pure personal preference here.

is the sit and go.....a 5 volt pt, when plugged in?
then returns to a normal 510 battery....when you unplug it?

NO...two completely different devices.

This usb passthrough plugs into a USB port on your computer or USB hub and allows you unlimited use of your 510. Has a blue LED. Just keep your cartridge full and no worries about swapping batteries as long as you are plugged in! Cord is heavy duty and about 4 feet long. Includes: 510 Manual USB Passthrough Atomizers and cartridges shown in pictures are for illustration purposes only and not included. Please note, this manual USB Passthrough does not contain a battery. The manufacturer claims 1 amp is required but I am finding it closer to 2 amps. I have personally tried it on a new PC, 2 old PCs and an extremely old notebook with no problems. May not work on some USB hubs or adapters. The actually voltage is between 4.6 and 4.8 volts.

As for using the 5V PT on your PC....it's up to you. But I wouldn't. I have my PT plugged into a 2amp USB converter which in turn is plugged into a surge suppresor which is plugged into a wall socket on a completely different circuit than my PC....but then I'm neuotic because I cannot afford to replace my PC :) Just MHO....but search the forum and see for yourself. Madvapes also carries nice USB converters/adapters for home AND car! 2amp usb port that plugs into car lighter...that rocks!

Hope this helps :)

Did you get a 5v PT as well? They were out of stock when I looked. I've never tried 5V vaping and this looks like the perfect way to try it....since I have the whole nuerotic electrical system already set up! LOL.

Thank you for the Sit and Go review...I've really been wanting to try one of them as well..as soon as the 5V PT and the Mini Vape Stack are in stock I'll make an order. Maybe today? :)

(that is a beautiful photo of you and your son....assuming that's you :) glad you quit smoking! )

guess this is more a question for the designer but…

I assume this starts from a regular 510 (or clone) batteries so I have 2 questions. Why not use a XL battery to give the 'go' part more life? I assume when the battery reaches its 200 cycles (or 300 or whatever the number is) it'll be dead unlike the Joye built one which uses a 10440 (AAA sized 3.7V battery, not sure of number) inline and which can be replaced?

I think the idea behind it was that as a passthrough it produces about 4.1 volts, like that of a fully charged battery and that's why the vapor production when plugged in is nice..

If you have to run somewhere you can take it with you as a regular battery unlike a Joye passthrough that has a cable attached.

What's really nice is that at the price, the sit and go is only a couple of bucks more than a regular 510 battery and gives a lot more functionality. Once you go to a larger size battery you're into a totally different product..

Also once a 510 battery is dead, you can't vape off of it unless you wait for a decent charge. The Sit n' Go allows you to plug it in from dead to vaping as a passthrough in about 2-3 minutes..

Hi! Yes that is Me and my little Boo-Boo!

I have not ordered a 5v PT YET!! I am waiting for them to be back in stock.
Don't get me wrong I am soooo happy with this Sit and Go! I like it WAY better than my regular in line batter PT. I am just addicted to collecting stuff right now LOL!

Now you have me curious about a vape stack...

The "Sit and Go" passthrough is GREAT! When its plugged in, you get a full, strong vape. And if you need to go somewhere, just unplug the usb and you have a fully charged 510 battery ready to go. I use mine at work so I can still pop out for a "smoke" with the other smokers and don't have to worry about taking multiple batteries to work with me.

FWIW, because it pulls so much power, I have not used my computer's USB plug. I can't take any chance that it might fry the USB plug or even worse, my motherboard. So, I ordered the a/c-usb converter from MadVapes (which are the required 2 Amp kind) and plug it in to an a/c outlet instead. The cord is not very long, but it works for me with an extension cord.

Great idea!!
