Can tank o-rings (rubber) dissolve when exposed to juice? Any health risk?

Out in the middle of Nowhere
There have been instances here at ECF, where people have reported that the plastic in their bottles and rubber end caps on tanks were melting. After a long discussion, it was decided that it was probably a chemical reaction between the juice and the rubber/plastic that was causing the melting. There have been no 'official' tests run by government agencies at this point. Your best course of action would be to by glass bottles to hold your juice, and glass tanks (if you use tanks) with either delrin or stainless steel end caps. This is what I've done.

Here is where I ordered my glass bottles from....
Cobalt Blue Boston Round Glass Bottle 1 oz w/ Dropper

And here are some glass tanks....
Glass Tanks & More - Spring Vapor
I see they are out of stock right now, but they weren't yesterday...hopefully they will get some more in soon.

Hope this helps you!
