While I cannot answer that for sure, I can tell you that we use those at work when working with various fuels (jet, gasoline, diesel, etc) to keep them off our hands and they work fine for that.

Not really your answer, but I hope it helps. And regardless of whether you are using gloves or not, I would always wash your hands when finished.

Do you vape with latex gloves on?

That's funny.

No, I was washing cart filler for the first time today, and I wore the gloves to keep from absorbing it through my skin. And when I was done I washed my hands too. But I started feeling a bit wired, and then got a bit paranoid. It could have been the coffee maybe. So, I thought i'd ask just to be sure.

I think the gloves should work. I definately get an effect through the skin though. Just the other day my heart started racing and I was feeling flushed when I noticed a drop on my skin (36mg strength). I used to rub in the 24mg stuff on my fingers without noticing any effects, but since I switched to 36mg I try to avoid ANY skin contact.

Unless you're making massive batches, I wouldn't even bother with the gloves. I get it all over myself all the time. No reaction to it. Just wipe it off on what's handy.

Applejack, from my experience, I might say this a bit differently. I got sick in the beggining, so I'd say to be very careful until getting used to the PG and nicotine in the stomach. But like you, after a few weeks of vaping, I've not had be careful anymore. I wipe the excess on my pants--no stains yet :)

iv gotten it on my hands almost daily i just wipe it off i even pricked my finger with the syringe i use to fill my carts and the needle had nic on it. Unless your very new to vaping it shouldnt hurt you although some people are more sensitive than others but if it was that lethal they wouldnt be able to sell it. Its the pure nicotine thats dangerous, you dont have to worry about that unless you work i a chemical factory that handles pure nic

Just a side note, drug delivery systems that use the skin to absorb the drug and deliver it to the body (i.e. nicotine patch) are far slower than through the mucous membranes or the lungs.

36mg/ml is fairly potent, that's about 2 drops to equal 1 cigarette's worth of delivered nicotine (~1mg). As for how much would actually be required to cause a problem, it would be a fair bit, and that would be total absorption.

As others have said, wiping any liquid off with a tissue would be sufficient for standard liquids. Chances are you'll get the majority off, and whatever has already been absorbed into your bloodstream isin't going to change even after washing your hands.

The gloves are safe, they won't let the liquid seep through. If you have any accidents and get liquid on your skin, just wipe it off, if you're overly concerned, wash or flush the area.

The only time I get a little dizzy/sweaty is if I'm having a particularly hard time keeping the juice from getting in my mouth and it happens repeatedly in a short period of time(some days just nothing seems to go right, I'm sure you know). If I keep getting it on my tongue a lot, especially in the morning, I can feel a bit woozy.
