Hi everyone. I have an eGo Twist 1100mah that's about a month old. I use a mini Nova tank with it, with a 1.8 ohm coil and I usually have my voltage set around 3.6 or 3.8. My question is, can the twist for the voltage not work correctly? It just seems at any voltage I set it at, it vapes burnt or the flavor is way off, even at it's lowest setting. I have an older Twist that the twist part is very loose and won't stay at any one voltage. I have to make sure the voltage isn't too high before I vape. My newer Twist is like that too. The Nova tank is brand new, as is the coil. I know Nova tanks need some break in time, but my older Nova was doing the same thing on this battery. Any help would be great!

HAA I knew it

that was something I was worried about being a proud new owner of some new VV eGos
what brand are they ?

I am REALLY careful about flinging it around, thinking that if/when it gets loose--that won't be good

can you or anyone around use a multi-meter? hook one up and test the voltage output

then find the best setting and tape it there... :)

I have 3 Joye Twists that are over a year old and all the adjusters are still as tight as the day I bought them. One the battery is totally shot(won't hold a charge). The other 2 still hold a charge, but only last about 6 hours now. I don't beat them around. They have fallen over where I stand them next to my computer, but outside of that pretty careful with them. They still seem solid. I also have a Smok Winder, but have only had it for about a week, so can't tell you alot about it.

Tape sounds like a good way to go. Also, you may want to invest in a volt meter. Madvapes has a 510/ego voltmeter that they put on sale for 9.95. Not too much more regular price. I have one and use it to set my batteries after each charge.

Mine have been knocked over and dropped lots of times. I am surprised they still work. So if the twist part is bad, (and they are fairly loose, so loose in fact, it changes voltage in my shirt pocket) it wouldn't surprise me if the internal part is stuck on one voltage.
