So I am ordering my supply's from wizard labs and was messing with the e juice calculator and when I did the calculator wants me to mix only my nic solution which is 100% vg 12mg with only vg and the flavoring. So it was 5ml of nic 3 ml pg 2 ml of flavoring for a 50/50 mix 6mg nic strength

If you start out with 12mg/mL and want 6mg/mL half of the bottle will be your nicotine solution, that is correct.

I believe you do need a bottle of plain vg.

6 mL of your vg containing 12 mg/ml nic added to 6 mL of plain vg will yield 12 mL of 6 mg/ml juice.

That having been stated, now adjust for the flavorings that contain vg.

One good thing though,you can get vg at walmart,in the band aid isle for like $4,so if you didn't put it in your order,it's still easy to get in a pinch.

The OP is aiming for a 50/50 mix. The 12mg VG nic base is 50% of a 6mg mix, PG based flavors and plain PG will be the other 50%, no VG needed.

If the OP uses VG based flavors the finished VG ratio will need to be higher so no additional VG needed.

So the calculator was right I will not need vg ? All the flavors I ordered where pg based if I do need some vg Wally World is like 5 mins from me

You might need some VG if you want to make a recipe with less flavoring (and want to keep the ratio 50/50). I think what you have up there is 20% flavoring (too lazy to scroll back up and check. 20% is usually too much flavoring for me, but that's a personal thing. At any rate, you could either get some from walmart or just make a slightly higher pg juice if you decide you want less flavoring.
