OK guys so I ordered the Ego from ecigsupply. comes with 5 carts and I got 5 empty carts and some juice. what I was wondering was if I could pre fill it and a couple of carts and just put it in some kind of container and put it in my pocket, Or will they leak everywhere?

Also I was wondering on what the life expectancy is for the 510 atomizers, and carts,

and a 510 cartomizer, I will probably only be a medium vaper.

The carts, filled or empty, usually come with a rubber cap which has a decent seal. So pocketing *may* not be a problem.

A better solution (than your pocket) would be to get an eGo case which are carried by a number of different retailers.

I use the case...

510 carts last ages - Im still using some from december (the filling doesn't last that long but you can wash it or use blue foam which is also washable) - I do throw them in to wash though as Im sure they can harbor germs lol.
510 atties lifetimes vary massively and there is no 'exact time' that they last. If you look after it (keep the bridge moist and not use to many dark colored or thick juices) they can last months; others die in days or weeks even if you look after them. Treat them as disposable objects and keep a good supply.
Yes you can prefill the carts and take them out. Sometimes they do leak (not flood out, think osmosis rather than water from a tap) a little - keeping the end cap over the atty (the plastic top, not the cart) can help a lot but there may be SOME seepage. I usually keep a paper towel or tissue handy when I take mine out. I definitely would use a case of some kind.

I'd suggest buying some cartomizers. Even if you don't like using them (which you probably will once you get used to them), they have 2 piece covers you can use on your cartridges. Put the cover that comes with the cartridges on the end that goes into the atomizer, and the cartomizer cover on the mouthpiece end. Leakage problem solved.

I use an Altoids Tin.
Perfect pocket size.

I can hold an extra Ego (Riva) battery
2 or 3 bottles of juice. I can get 3 3ML bottles, or 2 10ML bottles.
And several carts.

And as others have said, the 510 carts come with a silicone cap that does seal the juice in pretty well.

I use an Altoids Mini tin. Can hold 2-3 carts and a spare atty, and a small baggie with spare poly fill. Add to this a small Swiss army knife that you can drop in your pocket or put on the keychain. The knife has scissors, a blade, tweezers, and a toothpick. All which I have used in refilling/cleaning/working on carts.
