Hello, some people me included put two or three drops in a new atty and vape it for awhile....then do the same thing with a filled cart....What I have experienced is with a new atty, the machine "oils" or "residue" is still there, so one must "break-it-in"...But, having said that,,,It doesn't mean all new attys are like that.....Just have to check them out and decide on your own....Good Luck and of course.....Enjoy the Adventure...

Did blow it out and "curing" is a definition meaning seasoning of something. In other words, like a cast iron skillet, the more you use it the more seasoning or curing it gets. I assumed if an atomizer had never been used, there may have been a breaking in period.

Yep you are right but usually it isn't referred to as curing. Some people call it priming though.
Anyway yes blow out the primer and then drip 2 or 3 drops directly onto the atty bridge. Puff a few times without inhaling the nasty left in there primer. Then it should be primed. If you don't get a lot of vapor or a lot of gurgling, it could be flooded. if it tastes nasty like burnt , it could need more juice. It takes a little getting use to but you will get it.

The Totally Wicked Atomizers seem to take along time to start working. I bought some last week, and they didn't even seem to work. I blew them out, and dripped on them, and they still didn't seem to work right.

I just filled the cart, and let if sit with the mouthpiece up for about 15 min while I was folding laundry, came back, and it worked fine. I assume it just takes some time for them to wick up the juice. Especially some thick TW juice.

P.S. mine was on a Tornado also. I have now gone back to an adapter and 808 cartomizers. on it. WAY less hassle.
