I'm guessing he is talking:
  1. Pyridium, or cranberry capsules and no dude, those don't cure a UTI technically, pryidum is a bladder anesthetic that makes you less miserable while your antibiotics kick in. Cranberry is supposed to make your urine acidic which it does (while simultaneously causing to turn into molten lava as you go to the bathroom since you already have a UTI. I don't know who invented THAT torture.

There is no cure that I know of besides abx and if there ever comes a strain of abx resistant UTIs, I for one, will just suicide right there.
  2. You don't have a bladder infection unless it burns when you pee (usually)
  3. Dudes, don't be trying to discuss this stuff all savvy, you can't
  4. Finally do not walk out with yeast infection cream. You definitely don't want that and it will like not cure your overhydration problem.
Finally, :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Cranberry is used often to pass urine screenings, it works quite well actually. Have to take it daily and if you have no infection does not burn.;)

LOL did not know that about urine screens and the type I get to take I'm pretty certain it would not like, let me pass a urine screen, I don't get the dipstick ones but the ones that go through gas spectrometry and all that.

Fortunately I don't take anything I shouldn't be, although I guess keeping your urine acidic without a UTI would probably help PREVENT one, sure.

Still got various options to die on the table for the first drug resistant UTI, it's not like I even GET them much, can't remember the last time, but the very concept of it would send me running toward the exit. LOL.

I don't know if there is a direct correlation, but often times dry mouth would lead to drinking more fluids, however your body may be responding differently (maybe a doctor's appointment is in order.)

It's possible that upping your VG ratio in your eliquids may help, as to the best of my knowledge, PG is more dehydrating than VG.

It's equally possible that it's something your body may adjust to over time. I drink a fair amount of coffee but I've done so for decades, it's really not that much of a diuretic once your body adjusts at least so says MY doc (the only source I have on that) he indicates the diuretic effect is more pronounced early on and over time your body just treats it pretty much like any other liquid.

Good luck I hope your issue resolves itself,

Anna
Thx for reply. The doctor checked me out and everything was in order, he assured me. I will try some max VG juices and see what happens.

Sportscience Glycerol Review
The above study would lead me to think the glycerol ingested as you vape is not causing you to pee more frequently or in greater volume.
Your fluid intake has probably increased without you being aware of it.
People new to vaping are prone to jumping to conclusions on cause and effects of vaping on the body.
From my own experience most of my initial conclusions were wrong.
Thx for reply. I will check out the review.

Man, thank goodness reading about a bladder infection and the associated anxiety doesn't lead to one.... Here's hoping anyway. LOL.

But seriously unless your need to pee has like, QUADRUPLED or something, I think perhaps the advice to wait it out a bit is good.

Also, is there ANYTHING else going on that could lead to this? Some meds actually cause it as a side effect, if you really THINK you have whatever medical condition that causes your urine to not be concentrated down by your kidneys your doc could give you the 24 hour pee test for that.

You basically go about your day, but you measure ALL your intake of fluids. The less fun part is you then COLLECT all your urine, and if it's more than oh, I will say, a standard deviation above normal, well you'll have your answer.

Because usually SEVERE increased urination without increased intake is caused by your kidneys deciding they just don't want to bother concentrating your urine for you, if you sincerely think you aren't upping intake. Whether vaping can precipitate this is highly debatable, but this would be the only way to know for sure.

A doctor could help you with that, although like, usually for such a test to be covered the issue has to be SEVERE and PERSISTENT it is also NOT so much fun from what I hear. Etc.

Anna
I am on a bunch of anxiety meds but I was on them before this started. The 24 hour test is a good idea.

Take the stuff dat the women's take for UTI's. It'll work. Da women's are smart. Just wait til there ain't any of em in that particular aisle at the RX (they'll tell u stuff that we men ain't prepared to be hearing).

I've seen them sort stuff out w/o throwing hammers thru walls and cussing too much. They's just talk amongst themselves for a lengthy time and go about fixing stuff. They can be tricky about it tho.
what are you referring to ?

Nicotine can be a diaretic in some. It can also increase thyroid production, which increases metabolism, which means processing liquids faster....

So yeah, it makes sense some increased output can occur.
See a doctor if your heart gets to palpitating as that could be a sign of overactive thyroid.

On a somewhat related note, being old, for years I was getting up at night at least once and usually twice to take a leak. Someone recommended I try Saw Palmetto caps. Since starting, I do not get up at all anymore! 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep!
1 160mg in the morning and 1 in the evening. Works great for me.
I have been told that they don't work for everybody though.

Finding out what it is will be easy. Go to the doctor, TT in a container, and they can tell you within minutes, yay or nay. Your doctor will pat you on the back, congratulating you on putting down the smokes, and will tell all his smoking patients about you. Mine did. Do you retain and release fluids? Until you know something, drink cranberry juice and get some AZO tablets over the counter. Word of warning......don't wear white underwear as the AZO will stain your underwear.....permanently! Get dark colors.....black is good! My mouth stays dry, but I also take medication that dries me out, so I get a double whammy. I hope you get better real soon!:)

I've definitely noticed this. I drive Uber/Lyft after my main job on weekends so frequent urination can be quite annoying. I dont have the issue during my normal 8hr shift (dont vape) Also vaping doesnt give me dry mouth so I dont drink much at all during my driving shift (also to limit restroom stops) I've gone so far as to monitor my fluid intake during the day and go without vaping some nights, vape all I want, or half and half. What I've found is once I start chain vaping within an hour the fluids start flowing almost to the point that I'm expelling more than I drank in the day, but if I lay off the vape I can be out driving 6-8 hours and need to pee 0-1 times... glad someone else experiences this, so many others think this is crazy from my Google searches.
