Can water + nic + flavouring be successfully vaped?

I am not allergic to VG/PG (afaik) but some days the dehydration is getting to me. I drink about 4+ liters of water throughout the day now and still feel dehydrated sometimes and getting up throughout the night to go to the washroom isn't fun, so I cut back on the water.

Outside of vaping, I've had an issue with a dry mouth regardless of how much water I drink (or use biotene or all the other suggestions...) so when if I vape too much, I can tell I'm making it worse.

The main reason we use vg/pg is to create the vapour, but I thought say I don't care about creating vapour and would rather not use a humectant as the main base. Is there something else? The problem with water is it won't create vapour (which I'll gladly accept) but it's also too thin. Is there something besides vg/pg I can add to water to thicken it up and not contribute towards dehydration?

I'll still use vg/pg for the most part, but I'm wondering if there is something I can use on off days where I'm feeling really dehydrated. I also read that water doesn't deliver flavour much so that's kind of disappointing.

I'll gladly sacrifice the fog clouds some days to avoid further dehydration, but I"m hoping I could still get the flavour/nic hit. And think, it would be a great stealth vape.

In my early days, I put some water in an almost-dead (non-tanked) carto, just to see..

I don't recall exactly, but I got a few initial vapes off it, probably from some leftover juice.. then started tasting pretty gross & got barely any vapor, so I tossed the carto

I never tried it again

You might try adding a few drops of distilled water to a high-VG, but it will thin out your juice, reduce the flavor, and probably not help much with any dehydration, anyway
