Hello peeps,
Super newbie here. Got intro by my bro.
Today is my first day and loving it :)

Need the old birds to advise whether it is safe to bring PV to other country.
Any issues with SG customs or other country ones esp Malaysia?
Also anyone vapes openly in other countries?

Got any stories to tell on getting stopped by authorities for vaping? (SG and other country)

I vape at home and in car so far. Will get stop by TP or road block?
Coz very noob, need lots of advice and so far pple are super friendly in ECF.
Really like it here :)

Hi there, Wishingwell! If you were vaping while driving and a TP or LTA pass by you, they may stop you. If you were driving a highly illegally modified vehicle.

It's usually not associated with vaping @ all. Of course, I would highly discourage blowing vapor in the Officer's face if you were stopped because of your (if you have any) illegally modded vehicle. :D

Last but not least, Welcome!!

wishingwell, maybe u could bring in e cheapo type mods or those tt u don't mind getting burnt.

Just feign ignorance and apologize profusely if u do get stopped. Courtesy + ignorance works!

But in any event tt u do not want to take any losses, just get sm analogs whilst u're there and listerine yr mouth wen u get back!

Hi guys, thanks for the warm welcome. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. :)

Vinniz - thanks for the thread links. Super helpful. Sorry it was a repeat question, wasn't aware it had been raised b4.

I read already got some more qns:

Summary when travel -
Always check if vaping is legal in visiting country - (Illegal to own PV in Hong Kong)

Options available when travel:

1) Easiest - don't vape -stick to anaolgs if you can when travelling
2) Buy cheap PV in visiting country and discard when coming back.
3) Order online and request mail to visiting country address before going (keep batt and connector and discard the rest when coming back)
4) Just bring and keep fingers and toes crossed.

If really need to bring PV:
Transport modes:
1) take own transport - car/bike -seems easiest as seldom check

2) by public transport - boat / bus /coach - usually handcarry luggage only, Break items into parts and group with similar items (batts with other batts/camera/shaver, liquids with toiletries).

3) Plane - Best to break items and group and checkin luggage instead of hand carry as customs very .... about what you bring with you (bottles, liquids and other bomb making parts)

4) By other modes - personal jet / helicopter / boat/ submarine / rocket / alien spaceship / teleport - if you have the ability to travel in any of these modes, Pvs should be the last of your concerns.

Qn - If really so suay got stop, If ask about liquid can still say personal lubricant etc. (I thinking of prefill the Ego carts and group with disposable eyedrops) but if ask about battery / atomizer, should just upfront declare as e-cigg? Especially in SG customs. will really kenna confiscate and fine 5k on the spot?
