Can Y'all confirm what i bought is a "510"

I just bought 510 cartomizers,

And now i am concerned that I may have an 808?

Is that a 510? It says 510 in the name "Colesman 510"

But I need constant reassurance!

Well, the threads on the carto/atty are male, so that is a good sign!

But, no, I cannot confirm as there are some other threads that are the same male/female configuration.

808 has female carto/atty threads if I remember correctly.

unless the seller is a complete idiot, it definitely is a 510...(you wouldn't call it a 510 if it were something else!). besides which, it says it fits 510 tanks, too, which is highly indicative that it is indeed, a 510.

Even the atomizers have the 1 year warranty statement. Like to see that being honoured

If it is covered it might be worth the extra..but you just know they will claim it was worn out and used more than normal. But who knows those kits probably only cost them maybe $10 so maybe they just send new ones out. 510 regular batteries like that only last around 3 months of daily use really..the atomizers might hold up awhile on those small batteries too...

Looking at both your 510 link, it appears to be one of the many Joyetech 510 clones that are out there... The PCC should work fine with it...

My 1st 510 kit including shipping cost me under $35 last June from MadVapes and was here in 2 days. Although my kit came with 2 batteries,5 cartomizers,1-10ml tobacco flavor bottle and a charger..I could have got the atomizer kit which is about the same as yours. Shopping for e cigs isn't easy though a lot of sites charge a bit much..the kit you bought isn't that bad and if they stand by the 1 year warranty it's probably a decent deal.

BTW most likely the PCC kit you linked will work..I can't be 100% on it because there is a very small possibility that batteries they use opposite polarity..but I doubt it as it seems most of the e cigs of the same connector on the market are made by the same company and they just put different names on them.

There is one nasty clone 510 (usually called FS510) that is reverse electrical polarity and would fry both a normal PCC and the battery. I recommend you first try a normal Joye 510 (not 510-T) charging cable (NOT ON A COMPUTER - use an AC to use adapter and be ready to cut power to it if the battery gets hot - you may want to buy a spare battery first). If it charges fine on a normal Joye 510 charger cable then go ahead and buy the PCC. And I recommend the PCC at Charleston vaping which holds a lot more than the sharp-edged metal PCC.

The safer way to be sure would be to test it with a multimeter or voltage tester if they have one.

The center post of the battery should be positive when it's on..it should be somewhere in the 3v or so range.

Oh man...for less than $80 you could have gotten some kind of ego kit. That website should be ashamed for selling an510 kit for that much. I know a website that has them on sale for $20 right now.
