I wouldn't because the adapter is made so you can use other types of atomizers or cartomizers with different types of batteries, not so you can charge them. Chargers may also have different charge rates which aren't compatible with some batteries. For instance, the charger for an eGo battery shouldn't be used with a regular 510 battery because it will fry them. You can charge an eGo battery on a regular 510 charger, but it will take forever to charge it.

It's better to play it safe and only charge your batteries with the recommended charger.

The adapters are made though to transfer 4.2 volts (on the standard battery) to the atomizer so why couldn't it be the other way? If the voltage is the same and mA is equal or less than it will work. Its up to you if you want to try it. I charge my 510 batt with my old pv charger because they are exact same voltage and mA.

Exactly what I was thinking.

It's not the voltage or mAh of the battery. It's the charge rate on the charger. That's why I'm saying you should only use the recommended charger for your particular battery. The 510 and the KR808 are not the same voltage, and they may not be the same mAh, depending on which batteries you have. Using the adapter for 510>808 or 808>510 is NOT going to change that.

Just one other word of caution, however. Once, when I could not find my KR808D-1 charger, I put an adapter on my 510 charger and charged my KR808D-1 that way. No problem, until...I removed the battery and the adapter stayed in the charger which had a recessed connector. I had lots of fun - not - trying to get the adapter back off of the charger!
