Can you extend logged in time?

Seems when trying to write a somewhat lengthy post, I get logged out before I'm finished and I lose what I've written, then I have to do it all over. I usually try to copy the post before I hit the button, then I can just paste it back in, but I don't always remember to do this. Is there a setting to extend my login time?

If you log out, clear cookies, then login, and check the box that says Remember Me?, then you should be permanently logged in.

If this is not the case, you may need to clear cache and cookies.

Hmm interesting. Never knew that. I just always try to remember to copy a long winded post before trying to send it through. Nothing is more frustrating than the intertube eating a well thought out LOOONG post lol.
