I've been all over Oklahoma City, made like 50 phone calls, and nobody I can find locally carries batteries like we need for mods. Only one Radio Shack had some 14500's but they were like $20 each and they didn't even have a charger for them. Hobby stores have some but only 50-150 mAh. Even the so called "battery stores" only have non-rechargable ones. Also, forget trying to find a charger too even though I had the specifications wrote down. It was really funny when they would ask what I was using them in and I would pull a mod out of my pocket. One store even commented they don't carry anything illegal.

Made an order with Deal Extreme.

You're not likely to find cylindrical Li-Ion batteries in a store, and if you do the prices will be insane (bad enough it would be cheaper to buy from a US source and have them overnight it). You can find some Li-Poly flatpacks and chargers at RC stores, but they'll generally be for higher voltages and need some modification (and again, expect to pay triple or more what you can get them for online).

Generally you can find US shippers for about a 50% premium, or order direct from China, wait two-three weeks, and have a $20 minimum shipping.
