I always leave my juices in my clearos until they're gone. No problems unless you're vaping a known tank cracker, which you don't wanna do outta plastic anyway. :)

That's how I clean mine, a good cold water rinse and a thorough dry. You can also toss them in some vodka overnight and then rinse with water for a more thorough cleaning. I dry burned them all once and all but one came out fine. The one that didn't was ruined, so I don't do that anymore.

I've never used the type of clearo you're using so I can't be more specific. But youtube has a wealth of clearo cleaning videos that are brand specific. That's where I went to learn how to clean mine. I prefer seeing someone do it instead of trying to have them describe it to me. :)

I found one for you, assuming that you're using the type listed in your sig:
How to clean a CE4 a.k.a. Vision Ego Clearomizer a.k.a. Stardust / CE5 - YouTube

Good luck!

Hope I can reply this time, I have attempted to about 5 times, my internet is not working tonight, I will check out the video soon as I can, So do you put the whole thing taken apart in vodka? or just the clear part and maybe the top tip and plastic? i wouldn't think vodka would be good for the coil or maybe I am wrong?
I am sure your vaping lot more then me, I am in this as a relaxing hobby, I guess you can say, never smoked hated it but this is so far enjoying.

The vodka is just to get totally rid of any juice that you are worried about - it's ok for all the parts!
But only needed if you're switching from cream to lemon or something that seriously won't go well together!
I'll take a clearo that's had tobacco in it, and refill it with vanilla or banana, while there's still some left - and only clean them if what's left is getting really thick and dark - or maybe when it's time to change the coil head, and I'm in there anyway...

And YES definitely, you can leave them filled - I keep several filled and switch which one I'm using, etc...

I have a lot of clearo tanks. Some have had juice in them for over 2 months. No issues.

Thanks, That is nice to hear, I just had no clue, hadn't even thought about that till today.
I didn't get every bit of watermelon out before put in my strawberry's, but its okay i just don't think the flavor is where i want it on it so going to add some more flavor tomorrow and try it again.
I do still have a redish tint from the melon in the glass however lol

No one answered my other question, for the ML marking on the glass is there a line I should only fill to? I guess im asking can you overfill it? I wasn't sure if its suppose to fill over the top lil plastic or not.

Also whats safe for the lowest to let it get before you refill? However I think I can vap about a week on this first fill if everyday like today, so far i an't even notice it has used any lol.

I've had them loaded for as long as six months - my taster kit for when I introduce newcomers to vaping, or loan them to a visiting smoker for a few hours. (I used tip condoms and, toss the clearos when they are empty, or give them to a newcomer if they love the flavor or want it to get them through until they get to the vape shop.)

I buy those from Fasttech, cheap, don't last long (3-4 tanks is all) but, they are meant to be disposable and, I can afford to toss them.

Thanks for the info, so do Clearomizers have a habit of dieing? or just needing to replace the adimizer in it from time to time

Sorry, i feel so low, asking all these stupid questions, I am in a few hobbys and I am the one most of the time answering there questions, guess I am just not used to being on the asking end of the stick.

Your questions are the same many others have had or will have, so don't worry about asking (in my opinion). ;)

I don't have first hand experience with CE5's, but they do appear to be rebuildable. By that, I mean you can just replace the wick/coil/atomizer when it goes bad, and keep the same tank/clearomizer. Naturally, this reduces your cost.

There are some clearomizers out there, like the CE4, that doesn't allow you to replace the atomizer, and while you can refill them with liquid, once they "burn out" they are no longer of any use.

Found out what happens if you let the juice get down to low and only the wick is wet, if you draw to long you get a very nasty burning like taste its yucky... anyways i am cleaning mine now with some vodka, just cause i have had a few different juices in it. I figured it can't hurt. i guess after i take it out i will just set it somewhere to totally dry before i use it. Or is it okay to just put juice back in it and go to using it? I really don't want to dry burn it like in the video. someone said here they did and one of there died doing that.

Edit: after cleaning with the vodka i was drying it all off and the wick just fell apart in pieces, is this normal? and can you get wick locally or have to order from a site online? how do i know what size? i am guessing they have different sizes

I tried CE5 got a nasty metal taste after a little wile that went a way
The taste was muted though through it in that garbage
well I found out that I guess when the wick fell apart and i didn't put the leftover back in it right, so the coil was burning some nasty smell. thats what i was tasting so now want to know how to replace the wick the right way, i ordered some wick.
