I started smoking e-cigs from greensmoke about a month ago and have reduced my daily cigarette usage from 10-15 a day down to 1 or 2 a day, and I am on the cusp of kicking my Marlboro Light habit for good. So, I'm ready to move onto a tank setup.

I prefer a tank that I can switch out 18650 batteries, as I already have a bunch in my house for my flashlights. I'd also like to keep my budget around $100 until I know what I'm doing. So can anyone recommend a proven, popular tank set for me with everything I need to get started, including parts that may need to be replaced regularly and a menthol liquid(I don't like any of the tobacco flavored ecigs I've tried)? Plus a website, that has good prices, that I can buy everything at one place.

For good pricing with fast shipping i would reccomend Ebay, I think a good Tank would be a Kanger Protank 2,3, or aerotank,on a Vision Spinner 1300mah Battery and also a Aspire Nautilus on a Nemesis Mechanical Mod, Thats what i would recommend for a starting point..Hope this helps you and good luck..VAPE ON!!!!:vapor:

For your budget and 18650 batteries, you could go with a VAMO, Sigelei ZMax, or SVD.
These are good, variable voltage mods.
Prices run from $35 to $60 (partly depending on if you're ordering from china).

You could go with a Clearomizer like the Nautilus or ProTank for juice, or get an IBTanked tank that holds a cartomizer.
You replace the coils in a clearomizer. You replace the cartomizer inside a carto-tank.
Prices are all about $20 to $25

For juice, I'd recommend you try a couple from MtBakerVapor or MrELiquid perhaps - that's going to be the trickiest part, because everyone's got different taste.

Not many places have the best deals on hardware and liquid - but I just looked, and MrELiquid does carry the SVD and the Protanks - so you could get everything there...

Good luck!!

 Are you sure you understand the terminology? You put batteries in a mod, not a tank. A tank (juice attachment) is a receptacle to hold the e-liquid, along with heating coils which turn the liquid into vapor.

:danger: Also, you can't put just any kind of batteries into a mod. The batteries used for flashlights are not the same as required for mods. Use those and you'll likely blow your mod and yourself up. You need special lithium ion batteries, specifically IMR (Li-Mn) safe-chemistry high-drain batteries.

I would recommend a vamo paired with a protank. Also keep in mind that the batteries you have already may not be suitable for a vaping application. You need imr high drain batteries, most popular would be aw, efest, mnke, and my favorite sony.

VAMO V5 - Stainless Steel - device
Protanks / Mini / AeroTank / UniTank - topper
mtbakervapor.com - good place to start for juice and a few different menthol flavor options
