I'm looking to upgrade from my Vision Twist/Evod combo right now. The Evod tanks keep breaking or leaking air and liquid.

I am looking for a stylish set up that hopefully uses the Evod coils as I bought a bunch but this is not a necessary factor. I need help with the whole set up, including which coils and charger to buy as I have no clue about vaping. I like the tanks which have big windows, as I think these are cool but again it's not a necessity. I have a bunch of 18650 batteries for flashlights but I hear these are too powerful for vaping.

Any recommendations? Pictures would be cool too. Thanks!

The 18650s you have my not be suitable, not because of power, but because of chemistry. You want IMR chemistry batteries for vaping.
If you want to step up to the next level, I would suggest an Innokin APV. An SVD, MVP2 or iTaste 3.0. They are all VV-VW APVs... the latter 2 are self-contained, the first uses 18XXX series batteries.
If you go with a 18XXX series battery APV, a nice charger for a little money is the Nitecore Intellicharger V2 or V4.

For atomizers... any of the above will work well with the appropriate Kanger Aerotank version. The first two, the Aerotank or Aerotank Mega... the iTaste 3.0, which is a smaller device, the Aerotank Mini is more appropriate.

why not just buy a different clearomizer or tank since as U said U have no clue about vaping, and keep using your ego twist battery which is a good battery.....the Evods personally I never liked and think they were overrated from the beginning..

I'd like something a little bit bigger, with more liquid capacity and frankly a little more cool looking(not skulls or zombies cool, but with a little artistic design or hi tech look). Plus I think some of the bigger tanks that I have seen that I like would look silly sitting on top of the Vision's slim profile.

I reckon it depends on what you find stylish. I am also on a basic setup, vision spinner, protank2, and looking to upgrade. Over the past few days I've done tons of research and feel like i've only scratched the surface of possibilities. for about 150 dollars you can do soooo much, I'd suggest looking at different online retailers until you find a few items that are visually appealing to you, and within you price range, then coming back here and looking at reviews and comparisons (youtube is another good place to get visual reviews).

I can't decide on whether to step up to a provari, stealth dna20 mod (like vaporshark), or a nice mech mod, eventually I want all three (and more!) but I can't afford all three right now lol

Style and function must be equally balanced for me to be happy. Since there are so many atomizers that are better (and sexier) than the pre-built clearos and glassomizers, you may consider learning how to rebuild as you step up in looks and quality.

If not, and you're not ready to take that step (no harm, no foul), what I would recommend is to look through the vaping pics on Pinterest (http://www.pinterest.com/search/boards/?q=vaping) and find some photos of setups you find attractive. Then come here and link us to the pics and ask what they are.

Vamo V3, 2 batteries, charger, hypertank, smoktek pbc v2, and a 5 pack of coils for $108.65 plus shipping $5.90 I think on the shipping. Then go here and get a sampler of e liquid
7 Pack Sampler (12ml) - Lucky 7 Vapes

Thanks for the advice. The Vamos look very nice and they aren't too expensive. I like the setup on this one:

From what I understand, it's an AGA-T+ on top. Is the Vamo below a V3? And what kind of batteries, charger, coils would I need to get started and maintain it for while minus the fluid?

For a smaller, carry around vape, I love thr look of the iTaste VV v3. It's the size of an ego, but I think they look nicer and they offer advanced features like variable watts and ohm checking along with variable volts and passthrough.

For larger mods, I like the MVP for function and battery life. The box shape helps to keep it from rolling off of tables. But, I don't think they're stylish. They are much smaller then they look online though, and make a good place for building atomizers and checking the ohms for them. You'll also never run out of power and they've charged my cell phone several times.

For both style, function and long lasting quality, I'm absolutely in love with my Provari Mini. You can get one for around $150 something in satin silver, but batteries and a charger will be more. It fits perfectly in my hand, and feels like it'll survive the apocolypse. I got one in pink, and they've got some pretty nice colors for sale over at Provape right now. Hybrid colors and a gold zencoat... Some don't like them for the lack of variable wattage, but I found that I enjoy not having that. I used to set the wattage on my MVP and forget it. I wound up vaping everything at that same wattage. Now, I have to reset the voltage according to the resistance of my coils, and I'm tasting my juice like I haven't in a long time.

For toppers, I love carto tanks. You can get custom pain jobs for them at IBTanked. You can get custom, frosted and colored glass ones over at Phiniac. No rebuilding necessary. Better taste then clearos. Less leaking then clearos. Bit of a learning curve, but not bad at all. If you want stylish, these will give you a lot of options.

That looks like a chrome Vamo. I think it's probably a different mod, but regardless, a chrome Vamo will look pretty close to that. That would be a good choice -- it's best to go to a variable voltage/variable wattage setup before you try a mechanical mod. I like the extra buttons you get with the Vamos. Most tube APVs use one button, which makes it a little harder to change the voltage or power frequently.

For a charger, a Nitecore i2 or i4 is just fine, but spend the extra bucks for a good pair of batteries. I would get two Panasonic 3400mah batteries if I were you -- but look for them for close to $20/pair.

2x AW IMR 18650 2000 mAh batteries, nitecore i2 or i4 charger (depending on if you need 2 or 4 slots), coils really depend on what you're vaping on. I have a kangertech aerotank, kangertech protank with aerotank base, iclear 30b and a kayfun. The first 3 you can buy prebuilt coils but the kayfun you have to build yourself.

Also a side note.... I had a Vamo v5... it worked great... for a week and then it was reading wrong on ohms... wouldn't fire ANY tank... nothing. I now have an iTaste VTR and it is really quite nice. It was a bit more than the vamo I purchased but well worth the money. Only downside I'm finding to the VTR is that it is quite heavy (about 1 lb of pretty solid stainless steel) and the chrome finish is a fingerprint attractor! Also the VTR only uses 18650 batteries. A mod that gets thrown around quite often is the MVP 2.0. The MVP 2.0 has a built in 2600 mAh battery (so you have to charge the whole unit, but it has a passthrough so you can vape while charging). It looks almost exactly like a VTR but with less weight and it also does not have the area where the atty can slip down into a hole to fit into your mod. If you go with a Vamo make sure you get Stainless Steel! The chrome versions show many fingerprints and the finish comes off relatively easy, but if you're worried about that just get a JWrap for it! I had one on mine and it looked awesome before I sent it back :(

All batteries for regulated mods should be unprotected IMR or Hybrid batteries. In a Vamo you can use 18350 batteries stacked but usually only flat top and even then they sometimes have problems connecting. If you use the batteries stacked make sure that you only EVER use them stacked and charge them together and discharge them together. Do not use them stacked and then by themselves and then stacked again. This will screw up the charging cycles of the batteries.
