Can you replace the glass in an Aspire Mini Hollow tank?

I dropped it and broke it, but luckily managed to get all the glass out.

Can the glass be replaced though? I went to the Aspire forum and asked. They said that the mini glass tank is the replacement for the hollow tank but I couldn't see threading on the broken tank so I don't think it's true.

Anyone ever tried?

I don't think so. I only have the hollowed sleeve for the full size and the size is different. I've only seen replacements for the strait Pyrex which is larger.

If the glass is a straight peice of glass tubing may be you would need to find tubing of the same diameter then have it cut to length by someone who knows how. May be an identical part exists for another tank but seems unliely. The replacement is ten bucks, right? Are you talking about the accessroy tank?

Yeah it's the hollowed accessory tank, all I have left is the outer stainless case. I think it's about $15 AUD to buy a new one, so probably not worth the effort trying to cut my own tube. I just wanted to see if a replacement tube existed in the retail world.

Also if it is the standard mini base you can just get a new glass one but if your tank is like what is pictured in the previous sort of looks like one piece but $4.50 isn't bad. Don't know what that is in AUD and shipping is another thing.
