Lots of people fly with them without any issues at all. We just got back from France, and had no problems flying in either direction. BUT we did fly directly from Montreal, so no TSA to worry about.

I just put all of my vaping gear in my carry on, and no one batted an eye, and I carried a ton of stuff with me- REO's, Ego's, a Roughstack, and a couple of disposables- along with batteries, chargers, and juice (just in case).

I've flown numerous times in the US with my GLVs which look rather ominous to the uninformed (and even some vapers) and even though I have a MedPort insulin bag filled with cartos, carts, batteries, and two extra "empty" GLVs I've only been interrogated and shortly delayed by TSA once and that was at LAS with "heightened security" levels after Bin Laden was killed but before it was made public.

Believe it or not, I've found that the more conspicuous you are with a PV, the fewer questions are raised. I put all my e-liquids in the 7 oz. Zip-lock baggie and put my "live" GLV in the bin with my cell phone, laptop, and such.

An agent will often ask what it is and when I tell them it's a personal nicotine vaporizer or high-end e-cig they don't bat an eye.

Good luck and have a safe flight!

Would not personally take my Copper when travelling in case some neanderthal decided to classify it as an offensive weapon - and their decisions can sometimes be completely arbitrary - so would take something a little more discrete.

Don't know whether you can find one on this forum but I've seen downloadable PDFs on a UK forum that explain the legal position in that country as far as vaping is concerned. Might be handy to have something like that with you in case of trouble.

Otherwise, Ryanair over here even sell their disposable cigalike on board the aircraft and vaping is therefore allowed, so if you fly them, just get yourself into the last 3 rows and vape all the way remembering those good old days... ;-)

I will never fly again until the grope downs stop and TSA is no more. ....Travel in dignity , Don't fly. just my humble 2 cents.
Trust me if everyone or a majority quit flying until TSA was removed the airlines would lose so much money they would cave in to the public! More people die each year of bee stings then a so called terrorist attack. ...sorry to get all political...I just don't like TSA
