Can you use a regular (not subohm) tank on the Reactor battery?

I thought I could still use my Tritons for 18 mg e-liquid that I have but the Triton just doesn't do anything for me since I switched to the Reactor. I can't use the 18 mg in the sub-ohm tank as it is way too strong. Is there any reason why I can't get a regular tank to fit on the Reactor, and if so, any suggestions?

I have the Reactor and just don't like sub ohm tanks.
I installed a Nautilus full size tank on the Reactor and love the way it works. I do MTL vaping and find that sub ohm tanks allow way too much air for MTL.

Any tank with 510 threads will work on your Reactor.
I'm sure the seniors here will give more detailed advice.
Good luck, I hope you find your perfect tank soon.

BTW, you should cut your nic. levels by at least half when using sub ohm tanks.
You are taking in much more vaper (and nic.) when using them.

If you are looking to put a Triton tank onto a Reactor battery you'll need the following:

- 510 to eGo
- eGo to Triton Tank

The 510 to eGo adapter for your Reactor will allow you to use Halo's eGo to Triton Tank adapter.

Thanks for the info!
I was trying to figure out how to put a Triton tank on the Reactor.
Now I know!
I seem to get great flavor from the Triton tanks and they are handy to have 4-6 different flavors loaded and ready to go.

@Rockin Randle, is Halo looking to make a Reactor Battery to Triton Tank adapter? Seeing as I've seen this question before, it seems like such a move is be a good idea. Plus, since I assume that most Reactor purchasers are Triton upgrader, it might encourage more Triton users to upgrade as they would feel safe in the knowledge that their Triton Tanks can still be used on their Reactor Battery in the event sub-ohm vaping isn't their cup of tea.

what he says. I have mentioned to RR that Halo MUST start selling the 510/ego adapter (to use with the ego/Triton Adapter. And hopefully a good quality one. If you buy the 510/ego adapter, make sure the male threads aren't shallow. In other words, the adapter should thread deep into the 510, and not just the first few of the female threads, the most used ones, the ones that failed on the first 20W isticks.

Forgetting the form factor, the reactor battery is great for the Triton tank. I'm a big fan of regulated power. Only the VarVolt Triton battery gives this, a consistent power throughout the discharge. But at a capacity of 900mAh, and a sacrifice of 150 to 200mAh to run the variable circuit, I could only get less than a half day's use. The reactor with it's massive 4,400mAh lasts me well into the third day.

I still like the Triton VarV, especially for going out, where I like the thin light pen-style.

There's always a trade-off with things like performance and size.

I guess the iSticks came with an eGo to 510 adapter, and i'm not really sure why Halo didn't add that to their REACTOR rebrand of the iStick. Kinda strange. But i called a local BnM to get an eGo to 510 adapter, and the guy there just GAVE me one from an iStick they had on hand. You can pick em up for a few bucks.:toast:
