New member to this forum and just wanted to thank everyone that posts here.
After 1 PAD habit for 45 years I quit stinkies 18 days ago and out of desperation started using Blu e-cig from 7-11. It helped alot, but after a few days the taste of it was not cutting it.
So, I googled e-cigs reviews and that led me here. Amen! All of my vaping questions were answered after reading this forum until my eyes were bleeding.
After reading and watching Triton reviews , I decided to purchase Halo's Triton kit.
Giant step up from Blu. Very pleased with the kit and LOVE the Tribeca juice!
I have been doing well staying away from the stinkies after 2 weeks with my Triton, but now it seems to be lacking something. So, after more research here the next logical step was to move up to the Reactor.

Yep, I ordered up the Reactor starter kit and some other goodies, should be here Monday.
Since I like to mouth to lung inhale I ordered a Nautilus Tank from another vendor just in case the sub ohm vaping isn't to my liking.

Thanks again to all the information you have posted here, I think I am going to be able to quit the stinkies because of you!

Congrats @Frese!!! Triton is an awesome set up but I bet you find the Reactor to be a power house! Remember, you can adjust airflow control on most of the tanks you can use on it.

Report back whatcha think and also remember...drink lots of water when vaping! :thumb:

Yes, the Triton is awesome. It goes with me everywhere. Very discreet for public use.
Thanks for the reply.

Awesome Frese! I followed the same path. I messed around with Blu for a long time. I was able to get away from the regular cigs after getting the Triton. That was exactly what I needed along with some fantastic Halo e-juice.

I still use both the Reactor and the Triton. I've even added a Tracer now.

The Triton has a nice tight draw. Much like a cig. Lung hits with the Reactor. 2 very different things. I get in the mood for one or the other. Sometimes when my throat is not feeling so good I just use the Triton for a couple days.

Thanks for the reply "hamburglar. Do you always use the Reactor for lung hits or can you MTL with it?

You can MTL with the Reactor. Just tighten up the air holes a bit. I choose not to though. Because I run it around 25-28 watts and don't want to risk overheating the coil. Id rather have plenty of air flowing through it.

Hold onto your Triton. It is handy to have both.

One other thing is where you are using it. The reactor combined with some high VG juice is going to blow a cloud. There is no getting around it. Even small 2-3 second pulls. So depending on where you are, you may want to use the Triton. Driving in the car with the windows up is a perfect example. If you blow a cloud at the window in front of you, you vision will be temporarily obstructed. If I use the reactor in the car, I have the windows cracked to draw the vape out. If its raining or I don't want to crack the window, I use the Triton.

Ill do a review of the Tracer soon. But it is basically the exact same experience as the Reactor. It just has a non-regulated battery and slightly smaller tank. I have found that the Reactor tank fits on the Tracer. So, I just use that larger tank on the Tracer.

I just got the reactor this morning and have been very pleased so far.
I am having a hard time getting use to the reactor tank.
The tank is performing well, it's just too much air to MTL, even with the holes blocked off completely. I have a very small steel washer that will fit between the drip tip and the tank that will basically cut the air volume in half. I need to spend some time trying to adjust everything to my liking and maybe try some direct lung hits. I'll let you know how it works out.

In the mean time, I have installed a new Nautilus tank on the reactor and found the perfect draw for MTL. This combo is a great set up for me. Now I just have to dial in the sweet spot for Tribeca flavors.

I will certainly be keeping the Tritons. (I have 3 and 3 spare tanks)
They are great when I'm out or at work and having stopped smoking 3 weeks ago, I enjoy the cig-alike feel about them. Keeps me distracted from the real thing.

Yeah, the triton got me off of smoking because it pulls like a cig, has plenty of vape volume, and tastes 1000x better. Plus the whole neat factor and hobby side of vaping drew my interest. That was all important to me.

After several weeks I felt like I was comfortable never smoking a cig again.

Then I got a reactor. It is very unlike smoking. But by that time I didn't need it to feel like smoking. I also dropped to 3mg nicotine in the Reactor (6mg in the Triton).

Welcome! As a long time vaper (6 years last August!) all I can say is find your sweet spot and stick with it! I actually transitioned easily to vaping, and smoking is just vile to me now. I love the taste, and I love not smelling like an ashtray! One tip someone here gave me was keep Halo's Fusion on hand for the times you really aren't feeling like a flavor. (That is their base for people who like to do their own flavors) I thought it was kind of odd, but you know what? I find myself talking a break from my favorites and will vape Fusion for weeks at a time - it's pretty awesome! And great for phasing one flavor out of your tank to switch to another as it is just a neutral flavor. Good luck and welcome! You can do this and finding juice that pleases you is key! (My faves right now are Tribeca, Fusion, and Evo's summer peach which is amazing!)
