I got a free DNA 30 Cana mod with the same error regardless of what atty, build, or any adjustment of the 510 on the atty. The screw in the mods 510 isn't adjustable from what I can tell. Any suggestions of how to revive this? It is a wiring and epoxy disaster inside! Haha!

Could it be that the Center Pin of the Battery Connecter is pushed down so it is Not Backing Contact?

Well , just my opinion but sounds like you now know the reason why it was free.

If Everything you put on that Cana doesn't work, I would think that the Problem is with the Cana.

Have you tried the Atomizers you have on Another APV? Or a Friends APV?

Yeah I have tried every RDA that I own and each one fired on my mini right before I tried it on the jacked up one.

Now it appears whatever hiccup my iPad was having is fixed so I can post pictures again. Here is a shot of inside with a lot of the epoxy pulled out. This is my first one opened up so if anything seems amiss maybe someone here will notice something I didn't.

Mine just says check atomizer. I have tried every atty I have on the unit, plus they all work on my IPV2. 510 connector is the updated one. I have the plastic wiring cover off and have shorted the 510 solder points on the board to verify it wasn't a bad/broken wire and still get "Check Atomizer" error, no "Shorted" message at all. Time to replace board or should I try re-soldering the atty points first? On a side note, with a fully charged batt. inserted the display shows 0.0Ω and 0.0V so I'm thinking it's probably time to dig out the authentic Evolv board I bought and swap out. Opinions on anything else to check first?
 Thanks

Kinda hard to tell if Anything thing is wrong if there is no Obvious Wire that Isn't connected to Something? Or something like a Big Burned Spot on a Circuit Board.

I think you should Try Lifting the Center Pin of your Cana Battery Connector.

That seems to be the Most Likely Suspect.

If you have Tried Everything else like a Center Pin Lift and Continuity Check with DMM, you might be down to the Point where Re-soldering or Re-Placing the Board is about the Only Option.

But before you do. What is the Price Difference between Buying a New Board and Buying a New Unit?

I really don't need to do anything. Again, it was free and I already have the mini that works great. I just figured if its an easy fix, I have a second one, if its not, oh well, its a free enclosure and buttons for a future build.

The center pin does seem to be very low in there, but on my mini, it is a flat head screw that I can adjust with a screwdriver. On this one, it doesn't have a slot. How am I to lift it without damaging something? I have tried tweezers and some tiny needlenose pliers, but nothing will grip it.

Here is a Pretty Good Video on how Many People lift the Center Pin on a Connector.
