Is it me or did their service recently get waaaaay worse?
I understand a f.... up once in a while, everyone is human, but three times on a row?
I get a notification that my package is delivered, yet nothing in my mail box. No one can track it down, and it randomly shows up days later.
Our mailman scans something as delivered then doesn't show up because he randomly takes a day off.
Ive sent two packages to Europe. One was lost for two months ( paid 260$ To send the damn thing), the other one was about four weeks late. Customer service is usually useless because they can't track anything down. ...?
Sorry had to rant. Was counting on my juice being delivered this week, also lost two bottles over the weekend, and stuck with weaker juices that I don't like. Sounds petty, but dammit, I want my juice!!! Lol.
Anyways, hope everyone has a good NYE :)

I guess I have it pretty good in some ways. I'm about 1.5 blocks from the post office where my mail box is. The gals that run the show are sweethearts and will keep parcels for an extra week or so before sending it back if I don't drop in for some reason. I guess small town living does have it's perks.

That said, why don't you make a point of exposing the mailmen that take time off when they please? If no one on your block is getting delivery it's kinda hard for the mailman to explain.

It has crossed my mind ... however, that's not me ... besides that, they are cancelling home delivery ... so dude's not going to be taking his long weekends for much longer.

Just my 2 cents but, not telling management that there is a problem is the best way in the world to ensure nothing is ever fixed.
It's the equivalent of complaining that the governing political party is the worst but never actually going out to cast your vote.

I would argue that your postman is going to get a VEEEEERRRRY long weekend. LOL I really do despise people who don't do their job while collecting wages. At the same time I also despise 'looking busy' to placate the boss when I have completed my tasks.

It sounds stupid, but our mailman is a really old guy with a limp. Everyone complains, but we all kind of feel sorry for him. This is probably his last job before retirement. Lately we've been getting different mailmen 2-3 times a week, so he's probably on his way out.
I'm mainly ...... off about parcel delivery. Everyone I know who recently sent a parcel somewhere either had it lost, arrive weeks or months late, or paperwork was filled out wrong by Canada Post so it had to be returned. And of course if anything messes with me getting my juice =)

I hear ya ... the mailman on my street, awards himself with quite a few extra long weekends ... and he sets his own hours

He has no issues with delivering at dinnertime ... after the banks are closed

The above quotes. That's why Canada Post is where it is. You got such amazing job security with Canada Post that you can do what you want and you won't get fired. Crown corporation at its finest. The CEO ran them into the ground. On a side note....
I finally got my Christmas mail. Singapore Post got it to Canada in 2 days. Canada Post took 25 days to get it to my door.
Gotta love Canada Post.

Singapore Post mail to Canada seems to land in Montreal and then takes a month
long snooze with Canada Customs
. CP actually delivers the goods fairly quickly
once they leave CBSA's hands.

My package landed in Canada on Dec. 14th and I'm still waiting for it to be released
to CP by CBSA (Just a a single Vision Spinner Battery).

I'm not a big fan of CP, but another group of super slackers is at play also.

Wow one single vision spinner battery, I hope it was at the very least 70% off or perhaps your the poorest or cheapest sob in the country lol.

Sorry man just ribbin yah.

PS, my new iPhone 5s from placement of order to in hand delivery took 30 hours via UPS. Hard to beat.

That being said I only order within my own borders. Can't stand waiting for anything, line ups etc etc etc. I do accept these things happen but don't have to like em.
