Hi all,

I would like to hear from any other residents of Canada about your experiences getting supplies. Are there any suppliers IN Canada that stock the liquids etc? If you have ordered cross border, has Canada Customs been freaky about it? There's been more stuff in the news from Health Canada about banning e-cigs until they can study (tax) them. Has this affected your ability to get supplies?

I personally havn't had customs issues ever while purchasing as an individual (and I don't think others have either). As it stands, for now, the Health Canada announcement is only an "advisory" to the public and a "warning" to those importing, supplying, and/or marketing the product to date.

I don't fear an all out ban will every happen, and besides, they'd never be able to control it anyways with the popularity that has surface here in Canada with these devices.

As far as Canadian suppliers, take a peek at the link I've provided to the sub-forum and there are topics there (stickied) that introduce both Canadian & Non-Canadian suppliers as well as one for discount coupons available.

I don't think there are any suppliers in the Ottawa area, but you can order from happyvaper.com, vapesmart.com, vapeables.com, evapers.com, electronic-cigz.com, canvape.com, and several others. Most of these guys are in to Toronto area so you'd get an expedited package in 1 or 2 days.

Ok so where can I buy these things in ottawa?

Need to bump up my post count so that I can post where I want :-(

Bought Elite Classic with spare atomizer, and eLiquid from ePuffer.com which ships out of Toronto. Order arrived in three days. One battery was DOA.

Customer service was fast, and good they shipped a replacement with my second order. This order included 3 more spare atties, a USB charger, and two USB pass-throughs, as well as next month's eLiquid. This order also arrived within 3 days.

Quick notes:
Silly me - I didn't find this site until after I had placed my first order.

ePuffer's Elite Classic is a pen style, that leaford states is a KR-108, and parts are interchangable with the DSE 801. One provisio, Janty cartidges are a better fit for the Elite Classic's atty.

ePuffer's USB pass-throughs have a stiff wire, In my opinion too stiff. I'll replace that with something more flexible.

cart mod - using Fluval C4 stages 1 & 2 filter material, cut to fit. cart holds 0.5 ml of eLiquid.

Silly me again. I bought a total of 7 bottles of ePuffer's Premium Canadian Tobacco Flavor at max strength. After a week this was too harsh for me. All was not lost though. A quick call to my local pharmacy netted me a supplier of USP Propylene Glycol, and Glycerin. I cut to 1/3 strength, with 80/20 mix of PG/VG and added a drop of McCormick's Club House Imitation Rum Extract from the baking goods section of the grocery store, to produce a nice smooth vapor with a pleasant taste.

Original idea was to post in the Canada section that greenhouseone.com ships from China. Yes, they are cost-effective, but read the Customs thread before you decide where to place your order.
