Just completed a 14500 version of my take on "The Cube" ...

Here it is with the 18650 version I put together several weeks ago ...

These were fun to make and work very well... oh, and here is a real "The Cube"

The tubes are from LED flashlights I got off one of those chinese mega gadget sites ... all aluminum. The cube shape gives a nice flat surface to mount the fire button and it doesn't roll around when you set it down. The on/off button on the bottom kills the power so no pocket firing ... you can't see it in the pics, but the mounting plate for the 510 connector is actually a dime .... (it fit, so what the heck). Guys in the modding forum pointed me at the fire buttons, tough to find a 3amp switch small enough to jam in there and I didn't want to put in any electronics ... wanted it simple and bulletproof.
