So I've been ordering stuff for my parents who live in Canada using some Canadian suppliers. There is a large list on Canadian suppliers on the Canadian sub-forum.

I just got on their site and it looks like a Blu cigarette type kit. I've never seen an apollo cig kit but it looks very close to Blu. The common complaints with Blu tend to be short battery life, not a good vaping experience, cost of refills, proprietary cartridges etc. I would assume a lot of the same issues would apply to these as they look the same.

I don't know how fancy you want to get, what your budget is or what you want to do in general.

EGO devices are well regarded in general on this board for a good starter device. The EGO-C kits have a battery that lasts a lot of people all day. They have refillable tanks so you can buy your own juice which costs somewhere around 18 dollars for 30ml in Canada. For reference most people who quit smoking do between 1-3ml a day of juice. Your mileage may vary. My Dad who was a pack a day John Player Special smoker goes through 30ml of juice every 12 days or so. I have both of my parents using EGO-C's.

I can try to help you out by pointing you to some good suppliers in Canada once you can receive private messages.

We have some really great Canada sites, and that means no customs, no duty and all of them I have used for juice or parts, is next day shipping, since they are in Canada; your order comes in a few days. No need to fuss with USA. I am using EGO Stardust, and love it. I also have the joyce 510 for when I go out and or I just want something more cigarette like.

I am too lazy to do the drops re-filling thing. I borrowed a battery (long) and cartridge from a buddy who introduced me to this whole idea. It was "greensmoke". I liked it, both the battery and cartridge lasted very well. But I went with the Apollo because of the re-shipping thing. Just got the standard kit, though, maybe thats the problem. Both the battery and the cartridge wear out too fast to be either convenient or cost effective. And I am not even a super heavy smoker, less than 20/day.

Well, I haven't had a cig in almost three months. In my view, that can mean vaping is life changing for me.

See, that is what I am hoping to achieve. I have tried, as you probably have, the drugs (champix, wellbutrin) and they are downright scary. Tried the gum, patch. lozenge, and inhaler. Nothing works. Yet with vaping I din't seem to even feel like I am missing something, no cravings. I am surprised that big pharma hasn't cashed in on this, cause I'm sure that is who is lobbying the government to continue with this stupid legal situation

You will find that there is no shortage of threads dealing with the subject of Big Pharma, Big Govn't etc.
At the end of the day, we have what we have and it has been the solution for me.
I hope it does the same for you.
When you get to the Canadian sub forum, check the stickys at the top. You can request to be PM'ed a list of domestic vendors. That is the best place to start your search.
Cheers

That would be great. Have you, or your folks found a juice that tastes at least somewhat like Canadian tobacco? How much of a hassle is it to do the re-fillable tank thing, I'm thinking, for example, when traveling?
