Hi all. I'm new to vaping and also to this forum.

I bought an Ego C from the first decent Canadian website I could find. The unit works well but the juice is too strong for me in taste, nic buzz and harshness.

I'm a little concerned about the purity and quality of what I'm vaping. How do you really know what's in it and the quality control of what you are getting? Country of origin is also a concern of mine as I've heard that I should stay away from any juice made in China.

I'm not familiar with all the terminology yet but the bottle says 70% pg 30% vg and the flavor says DuMa 18mg. No country of origin on the bottle.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Im in the same boat,im trying to find the exact ingredients in the flavouring, the PG and VG i know its pretty safe,at least compared too all 4000 toxic stuff in tobacco.Im experimenting right now, just picked up some unflavoured 16mg which "tastes" kind of vey slightly sweet and very smooth,im going to add a few drops of organic almond extract today, ill post later to let you know if its ok.

After you get your 5 posts in, (non-spam posts) check out our Canadian forum. We have lots of great Canadian Suppliers here.

I personally have had both- China and US made juice and didn't have a problem with the liquid I got from China. If you prefer not to have juice from China, there are lots of options out there.

I see you have 6 posts- sometimes it takes the forum to catch up with your post count. You should be good to post in about an hour.

Thanx. I'm in there now and have the list. Sorry for the first "spam" post. I'm fairly new to forums also.

Lesson learned.

I take it that 16mg refers to nicotine content? Does less nicotine give you a milder or smoother hit?

I'm still smoking analogs until I find the right liquid for me. My analogs are very light. the DuMa 18mg (onestopeshop) is too strong for me. Fell like I'm getting a nic buzz and the vape is too harsh and strong tasting.

HeavyRocker I'm curious if your Almond Extract is oil based. If it is I dont think you should be vaping it. Oil based flavoring is ok for cooking and eating but not for vaping. I think I read that at the FlavorArt website. I would check with the manufacturer and Flavor Art before I tryed it. Just trying to help. Good luck

Hey Spud!

Had to smile a bit - I got the same kit, same juice and nic level from the same shop back in Oct!

At around the 3 day mark, I got sick. My throat felt like crap and my lungs tight/wheezy. Did a lot of research here and a lot of friendly advice later, I decided to try a higher vg juice. Went with juggheads' 50/50 organic line (15mg strength) and never looked back.

To this day, I still have the duMa juice and vape it once in a while. I think my body is adjusting but I still notice discomfort when I use it straight for a day. Some people here believe that there is no such thing as an allergy to PG. Not sure, but for me I have tried other 70%PG juices and get the same results.

Good luck and keep on vaping!

As a fellow Canadian I have bought a few juices from a local supplier here in Vancouver, BC. So far from what I've tried, it's fantastic and tastes great! I personally use 18mg nicotine and it's a little strong but not too overbearing. I say lessen your nicotine content and try some different flavours, just make sure it's local stuff :) .
