hittman what are you using now?

I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to get back on last night and reply to you. I am currently using a screwdriver, xhaler, and nicostick/box mod. I had a dse905 that I bought but didn't care for much and sold. I have a janty stick v2 that I am getting ready to sell. The janty stick is a decent unit but it is hard to go backwards on battery life with it only taking 360mah batteries and honestly I don't like the 801 at 3.7v. I am seriously thinking about a prodigy for my next purchase. I met a forum member locally and had a chance to see the prodigy up close and like it alot.

I received my SB last week and have not really put it down yet. The size was a little intimidating when I was watching video reviews but the overall customer satisfaction that I was hearing from everybody was a deciding factor in making the choice. Once it arrived, and I had a chance to hold it, the size is not an issue for me at all. Actually, the size is one of my favorite parts about it. It feels really solid, the button is just great and it is not easy to misplace like my super-minis were.

The fact it will run dual voltages was a must and though I wasn't sure about 6 volts, once I tried it I understand why some people never go back. If you are considering it for you first mod, go for it. You will not be dissatisfied with its performance at either voltage. The size should be the only reason you might not like it. Many have said that once they held it they were not bothered though.

Regarding the customer service, AltSmoke rocks. They shipped very quickly. I had a small issue with an adapter, emailed them with a question and had a response in just a few hours from Rob. They have a good reputation and I can see why.

I think shipping will be free with your purchase given the size of your order. I THINK if you put in "ecf" you get an 8% discount on your hardware---I could be wrong, it has been a while since I ordered. The SB is great. I would recommend the black finish, it doesn't scratch and show fingerprints like the silver finish.

the prodigy does not look bad but the low volts seems kinda crappy

And have you actually vaped anything at 6v or 7.2v to even compare, or be able to say that "low volts seem kinda crappy"?

The Prodigy puts 5.XvDC top the atomizer - the Prodigy 1 via a resistor switch, the v2 via a resistance disk of some sort.

The Protege is a 3.7v device..

I prefer my 5v passthrough on a wall transformer to my GG at 6v slightly, using 510 atties. Voltage alone is not the whole story - different model atties will change the 'feel' at higher voltages, as will different juices.

Honestly, no one makes the mod I want just yet.

Got my Silver Bullet 4 days ago. Around a initial 6 hour charge for 2 batteries and I have not put it down. This dam thing absolutely rocks. Have 4 510 manual batteries charged and ready if needed. This thing easily goes into my jeans pocket. It goes in a cut off dress sock with me to work and every where else. Why would I ever go back to those small 510 batteries? Nice amount of vapor without having to direct inhale. So much more like a real cigarette.

jdub, I am not sure if it is still good or not but I think that altsmoke had a discount code of " firstorder" that gave you ten percent off if it was your first time ordering from them. It wouldn't hurt to give it a try. I hope you enjoy your SB. It looks like a nice unit.
