Candy Cane ?

I make my own peppermint flavoring and really am looking for the extra ingredient to make it more of a Candy Cane Flavor.

Any idea's ?

How about a bit of candy floss or cotton candy flavoring mixed in?

Someplace for another project I thought I remember seeing something about mixing peppermint with strawberry for a candy cane. (yep just checked my notes it's strawberry)

This was for something different, and it was to achieve the smell of a candy cane, what do you have to loose if you don't try it.

Many sweeten with ethyl maltol, which is cotton candy flavor. Several vendors sell the crystals. How to dissolve them, I do not know, but probably PGA. IMO, it is the only safe sweetener for juices. It should work, but might require some trials to get it right.

You might also add a touch of cinnamon to get the candy cane flavor.

Y'know, the combo of peppermint, cotton candy and cinnamon sounds pretty good!
