I've had normal weight all my life. Smoked 38 yrs and have vaped for just over ten months. Down 5-10 lbs to date. Would say that this is my stable weight though. The other thing I've had to deal with is sleep. Which in some ways may have an affect on my weight since it adds stress I didn't have before. Sleep is better today but boy, those first 6 months really hurt. 24 mg nic to start with and am down to 6-12 changing back and fourth. Kids don't like me at 6 mg yet:-/ anyways, one more thing I've discovered is - Serotonin. Smoking so long has messed with this function that it has to learn how to develop all over again. I guess this can make me kinda crabby also.

Congrats and good luck

"Can't" is a big word so not exactly sure what you mean. The usual affect of quitting smokes is MORE eating, not less. Those who quit them have, historically, complained of weight gain. In my opinion, this is not due to nic but to oral fixation as they call it.... hand-to-mouth or whatever... replacing smokes with food.
