Awww I love newbs :p( & love to tease)

Are you sure you've filled them enough? A Boge for example should be able to hold 20-30 drops of liquid. After filling its good to let them sit at least 15 minutes so everything is soaked well before vaping. Which method are you using? Using the condom method you can drip 20 drops into the plastic protective covering(cartomizer condom) then stick the cartomizer down into it mouth side down. Let that relax 5 minutes, check it. Add more if you need to by dripping until it looked saturated.

I also use to prefer dripping when I first started, after a while and getting a hang of cartos its just about all I use and typically only drip to test/ or when I want to vape something special.

    ^^ what they said^^
It won't take you long to get the hang of filling cartos, just don't wait until they are all dried out before you refill them.

I use 50/50 mix juice in cartos all the time with no problem, but you can't vape any device/juice faster than it can wick.

Could my liquid be to thick though I don't think 20 drops are soaking in. I think a lot less. 50/50 pg vg juice from diyflavorshack

It may be the juice... That's possble. You may just need to give that juice more time to soak into everything you can also...

Thin it with distilled /filtered water. The pink "great value" jug at wal-mart. Its only a dollar. Try 2 drops, see how that goes, then maybe another drop until the constancy is better. My advice would be put some of your juice into a smaller bottle such as 6 or 3 ml so in case you mess it up not all the juice is no good. Good luck! Cartomizers are the shiznit once you get em going :p

Welcome noobie , Boge's are one of the better atty and carto's maker , out there . Try thinning your juice a bit as one poster advised , and be sure your putting in enough juice , and allowing it to soak in properly . I suspect it's a combination of too thick of juice , and not nearly enough juice . But then again , I'm not there , but that gives you a few things to try .

I just found a post about boge quality issues where the filler isn't soaking in properly. Could this be my issue?

Possibly but the carto should still work. The issue seems to be from my experience anyways the lifespan of cartos is a little shotty. I've had some only last 3,4 days and thought "I got a bad carto" when others last well over a week to 2 weeks.

It's possible. However, Boge is all I use and I'm currently sitting on 200 boxes of different ohm's and haven't encountered any of the problems that I've read about. I have all 3 ohms and use them in conjunction with the proper voltages. Some of the problems that I read about are using 1.5ohm'd ones on 5V..ummm...NO. Another was using 2.0ohm'd ones at 6V...ummm...another NO. There has only been 2 posts that didn't state what PV they were using but were having problems.

A new Boge takes 25-30 drops to fill. Let sit on battery end for about 5 minutes. Are you letting your carto's sit after filling?

Sound like thick liquid to me. I vape 100% PG in my cartos and some juices that are 80pg/20vg. One juice I have is 40pg/60vg and it will kill a carto in a day or two. The filler swells and the draw gets tight even before that.

Cartos like thin juices that are fairly clear. Sediment is also an enemy of cartos. Sweet or dark juices, especially if they are thick are better in a dripper atty with a drip tip.

FWIW, I'll repost this video of the condom method for those who haven't tried it. Getting a carto soaked completely on the first fill goes a long way toward longevity. If you are filling really thick juices, you might want to fill them and let them sit for half an hour, as one poster mentioned. I have to top mine off about every 30 minutes or so to keep coil burn from happening. Burned filler is nasty stuff.

Could be but he hasn't said anything about a burnt taste.

I didn't get burnt taste with my thick VG liquids, but the vaper got thinner and thinner with weak taste and eventually the draw became tight. I thought it was worth a try since he asked if his juice was too thick.

I usually get 5 to 7 days out of a carto. I ordered a box from a different supplier and have been through 3 in several days with the same juice I always vape. There could be some bad Boges out there. Who knows?
