Can't find 510 cartomizer refill video

I just got some dry 510 cartomizers to try and and one point I found a vid on the site that dealt with 510 specific cartomizers and refilling them using the condom method. I have now tried to refind that video using the search for 30 min to no avail. My biggest question is do I condom the batt side or the mouthpiece side. I already know that if I try and take off the cap I will destroy the thing but can't remember from the vid if he filled from the batt side or the mouthpiece side with the cap still in it. Any direction would be awesome. Thanks

It is said that the teacher learns more than the student. That certainly is true for me: in this case and in many others.

I must have had tunnel vision during the past couple months, because I was unfamiliar with 510 cartomizers until preparing to answer your question.

I now have conducted some research and may almost have caught up to you on this. Although you have found that video at least once, whereas I can't find it at all. I can tell you the following:

  • There are two types of 510 cartomizers: smaller capacity tan/cork colored soft carts (e.g., from NHaler and LeCig) and larger capacity black colored hard carts (e.g., from LiquidXpress, DIETsmokes, and VaporKings.

  • VaporKings is the only supplier I know of who offers blank (what you call "dry") 510 cartomizers. Rob specifies that these are not made by joyetech but will work with Joye 510 and eGO/Tornado batteries and 510 adapters. They have a capacity of 28-30 drops of e-liquid and are 2.7 Ohms resistance.

  • I've read differing opinions on which end to insert into the condom when using Dogbody's Carto Cap Filler Method. If I were to do it, I'd start by trying it from the battery end.

  • Many videos of this method (using Kr8 carts) can be found on YouTube by searching there for "cartomizer condom", "CCFM", or "carto cap" (quotes not needed). I like Doctor Vapor's presentation the best:
Although I wasn't able to find that particular video for you, I hope this helps. Thanks again for teaching the teacher, Warrior!
