Lack of vapor has two causes, flooding and too dry.

Even though I have no experience with your model, general knowledge would say that it is dry as letting it just sit does not help with flooding.

So, the question is, why is the atomizer dry?

(I am further assuming that it is a catridge+atomizer type rather than a cartomiser type)

Is the cart fill slushy looking? (Fully saturated)
Does the wet cart fill touch the atomizer bridge? (That contact will allow the juice to wick down to the atomizer coil)

If the fill looks dry get it wet with juice or change carts. If the fill is not touching the bridge, pull it up so that it will touch when it is assembled.

Humf! Sounds like your atty then.

Every once in awhile an atty just never works right. (True with 510 types)

Your only recourse, other than getting a new atty, is going to directly dripping juice on the atty. (Dripping). And if that is an auto battery, that can be problematic as flooding the atty usually results in flooding the battery which harms the battery.

Is that unit one of their Try Me kits?

Yes, it is the Try Me cig. I've been chatting with misteliquids admin and he neither knows what is going on, said that these are known from producing plenty of vapour.

The polyfill may not be touching the bridge of the atty. Try taking a paperclip and pulling the polyfill out until it is flush with the edge of the cart, then try putting it on the atty.
Done that also.

The wick is actually a fiber. It is suppose to run through the coil and up to the bridge. It is usually hidden under the metal mesh, but often a few strands peek out.

The bridge is made of an arch of sheet metal, the wick, and a covering of metal mesh.

The same metal mesh surrounds the cup the coil is in also.

The evaporation of the juice should keep the bridge from conducting all the heat up to the cart, but it happens occationally.

There are some good pictures of an atomizer torn apart in the ECF Library in an atomizer rebuild thread. (If my memory is working right.)
