What is one to do. I started using e-cigs to stop from smoking and for years, I've done just that. Now, the main shippers USPS, UPS, FED-Ex and DHL are refusing to ship anything to do with them to Oregon. In their infinite wisdom, don't they realize these new shipping restrictions and hurting legitimate users mostly?

I can no longer get these batteries (1100mAh Automatic eGo Battery) which pretty much renders using my system, useless.

Hi and Welcome,
What system are you currently using?
What is the nicotine level of the juice you are using?

Do you have a vape shop (nicotine or other) local to you?

Cheers

Hi Izan,

Thank you. Well, I was using the Clear Fusion Max Tanks with Mig Vapor batteries for a few years then those went out of style, I guess. So, I started using the ego-T automatic battery with clear tanks and they are just perfect. I started buying them from vapor4less before the shippers agreed not to ship any vapes product to Oregon. They ship to a lot of states but not in Oregon and others. Just a weird kind of ban.

I've gone to two local vape shops in Portland but they don't sell anything like what I need. They only seem to sell these huge tank volume concoctions. I fear I may go back to smoking in the near future and that's the last thing I want to do.

This UK store has them.

EGO-C Twist VV Battery - 1100mAh - The Purest Vapours

Some OS vendors will happily disguise the contents on the package.

I'm very surprised to hear that they care. I haven't heard anyone have any issues in any state getting Chinese multi product sites to ship to them. Like have you tried cashing out a cart and they refused or did they just have that listed on their website? I ask because there have been numerous sites that at one point or another had something on some page saying that they don't ship to restricted areas etc but they were still doing so. Legally they're not supposed to ship things to the US to consumers at all so I would find it strange that they are adhering to state laws but not federal but then again a lot of weird stuff happens.

As a side note if you have friends in other states maybe they could "allow you to come pick it up"

I believe @Mark97213 list of states is from the US retailer he used in the past, not a Chinese retailer.

I wonder if it's possible to hire a drop ship service or something like that that will in turn, route the package to me?

I hear that this will not work as reshippers are required to unpackage your goods then repackage them in order to make sure nothing illegal/prohibited is being shipped. That's just what I heard.

But the fact is, you're just biding time. It won't be long that you will be back here looking for automatic egos because your current source no longer carries them. My point is, IMHO, your time is best spent looking into hoarding automatic draw pod systems rather than hoping that you will forever be able to access automatic ego batteries. They are already hard to find as it is and probably all US stock is old stock anyway, which means they have a short life as the batteries in them are old. But the problem with pods is that you will have to hoard whatever you eventually decide on because these things get discontinued fast, because that's how China makes it's killing on vape, by constantly making new, shiny products that people want to keep buying...much like smartphones and such.

It's a bad time to finally come to the conclusion that vape is being legislated out of existence, but I guess better late then never. But because you are late you now have a huge task on your hands. Decide and buy wisely or you will unfortunately find yourself with a cigarette in your mouth.

BTW: I hope you are making your own juice by now and have hoarded nicotine base, otherwise all your hardware hoarding efforts will be for nothing. The FDA has yet to approve any bottled juice and likely never will, but if they ever do your choices will be between tobacco and tobacco. But it's quite clear the FDA only intends to approve closed systems, therefore bottled juice, even 0mg juice, will eventually never be sold inside the USA. In fact, all juice being sold right now is technically illegal.

Good luck.

BTW: Be aware that none of the links to egos posted on this thread are automatic egos. I'm sure you are aware of that, but just making sure. But if you MUST continue to use egos, then your absolute best bet is to hoard as many manual egos as you can and learn to get used to pressing a button. Manual egos are much easier to find than automatic egos.

Yes indeed, I have tried. Most just say they won't ship to my zip code when I insert my address in the check out. The one I need these batteries from (1100mAh Automatic eGo Battery | Automatic Vape Battery (vapor4less.com)) will actually allow you to complete an order, then in 5 minutes you'll get an e mail canceling your order due to shipment restrictions. Yep, if I only had a friend in AZ or ID, I'm sure they'd buy them for me.

This is all so true. I want to do just that, but about 20 of these batteries if I can find a way and pay someone a good fee for getting them for me. It's just wierd. It'sas though they want people to go back to smoking.
