So I bought and built a RSST. Used 32 gauge wire and SS mesh. After a couple tries all went very well and I was able to get a solid 2.0 ohm coil with no hot spots using my provari. I was feeling good. The wire I got was from the guys who sold it to me and I only had a few inches.
Feeling saucy and accomplished, I decided to order a AGA t2 since the rsst just didn't vape to my liking. It didn't blow my carto tank out of the water.
So my AGA comes in and I realize I accidently ordered Kanthal A-1 Heat Resistance Ribbon. No idea what the gauge is. I have tried and tried and I can not get an ohm reading above .08. 5 wraps, 7 wraps. almost touching. I got 1.0 for a second, then it dropped again.
Is the ribbon the issue here? Or am I missing something. My electronics knowledge is fairly strong, but my e-cig knowledge is new and weak.
