When I first got my 901 it was great with lots of vape. The vape gradually faded off until I figured I needed a new atomizer so I ordered two.
Can't get either one to work. They seem to get warm but no (zero) vape.
Just a bit of a burnt taste but I've added fresh carts and drips so they can't be dry.

I figured I was doing it wrong and asked Cash. Being the wonderful person that he is he offered to exchange them for me even though they are probably good (or I killed them in my newbyness). So he sent me two new ones (my apologies Steve, I haven't put the first two in the mail yet. But I will).

Same thing exactly with the two replacements. New cart, a drip and no vape whatsoever. There is no way I got four bad atomizers in a row. Especially from Steve who tests them before shipping.

What else could cause this? batteries are fully charged (I'll have to hit them with a VOM to see if they are outputting full voltage.

I'm stumped and have shelved the thing until I figure it out.
Fortunately my classic pen seems to be keeping me happy but I'd like to sort this out.

Thanks,

Now you have me stumped...hmmmm

We have 4 atomizers that seemingly heat up, meaning the batteries affixed seem to work as well. If it was 1 battery, we could be safe to assume, the battery had a problem... but... hmmmm

So, you are putting a fresh/topped off cart in and getting zero vapor? This stumps me just because the extra 2 that I sent you I tested very very thoroughly and they worked perfectly fine here.

are you inhaling it differently than you would the pen?

The next guess would be to send you a couple new batteries to see if for some reason, the others just weren't pulling anything?

Is your charger functioning properly?

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking.

There may also be a problem in the charger itself, if this happened to both at about the same time ...

It did happen at the same time. I'll test it out and maybe order new batts and charger.

I just ordered another hundred bucks of stuff from you today to that's about it for my e-cig budget for the week.

hmmm... interesting....

I will go ahead and put 2 new mini batts and a charger in with your order :) Lets see if that helps to resolve the issue!

I have no doubt that you did test them carefully. In no way do I think this issue is something that can be chalked up to you.
I believe you and the others here that think it is the charger may be right. It's all that makes sense. Even two batteries going bad at the same time is too unlikely.

Oh no Cash! I just put in a hundred dollar order too. Took money out of my savings because I just had to have the limited edition pink mini :D. Could you please double-check mine before you send it? I won't mind waiting a couple more days for you to do this. Well, not much - this is my first mini and it's pink! I just love the anticipation of good stuff coming in the mail! Also could you send me another electrical outlet for my house?;). I need one of those octopus things that someone has - I think it's Emp.

Haha,

It will of course be fully tested Janet! The DSE901 series seems to be the model with the least # of problems, so hopefully, we can keep you problem and stress free :) I wish I had one of those octopus chargers ... Talk about the greatest invention since the ecig itself ... LOL ...

EDIT: I'm really looking foward to what you think of the mini compared to your pens!
