Can't get O ring into vamo?

I haven't had this issue with my VAMO but have seen a video where the guy cut one side of the O-ring and tucked it under the pin with a small jewelers type screwdriver. Sorry don't have a link but maybe search in youtube.

This is what I did as well. Takes some patience to pull it off but it does the trick. I never have to worry about the ohm error again. For the life of me I can't figure out why CE didn't replace their o-rings in their version changes!

I did the cut O-ring first, but wasn't real happy with the fit. What worked well for me was to gently pull the center connector up as far as the wire it's connected would allow. Then I took a whole O-ring, started one edge over the top, and worked the rest of it over the connector with my thumb. That was much easier for me.

I did the same as JimSmith and that works really well. #60 o-ring and gently work the center pin up until you can slip the o-ring on it. Getting the center pin up was the hardest part, used a small screwdriver like those you use to repair eye glasses. The connection seems much better than when it was new. Bob
