I have a evod tank and I purchased some coffee flavor liquid which smelled amazing. So I filled my evod and hit it only to find its probably the grossest thing I've tasted in my life. The smell after burning is just as bad. So I threw away the coil and soaked the tank in alcohol overnight. I threw in a new coil and some fresh orange liquid and still smells and tastes horrible. So I repeated that cleaning process 3 times overnight and even washed it out with soap and water but that horrible taste has embedded itself and I don't want to Waiste money on a new tank as the evod is just my spare when I get bored of the flavor in my protank. Has anybody else experienced this problem? This is the only flavor I haven't been able to get rid of.

Coffee is the world's worst to get out of a tank, coil or even the drip tip. I actually used half vinegar and half hot water to soak mine in after coffee. Then I washed and rinsed. Coffee can linger for days in a tank...even after several washes and changes. It's why I don't Vape coffee flavors very much. That and the fact its rare to find a half way descent coffee flavor in a Vape. Killer juice has some good coffees. But I rarely Vape them because it is horrible to clean.

Is it glass or plastic? Glass I would boil in vinegar and water then let it soak and cool overnight let air dry rinse and wash with soap and water then take everclear and rinse with that it should work....plastic it can embed into the plastic and may never come out.

You must have found some really bad coffee flavor!

I use both plastic and glass tanks, and I vape coffee often--never had a problem. Any hint of coffee remaining in my tanks disappears after a very short time. I soak my coils in PGA and just rinse the tanks with warm water.

I'd just give it some time--it should go away--eventually. :D

Soak your tank overnight with a tab of denture cleaner. I use it all the time for tanks that contained coffee, peanut butter or any other strong flavored liquid.

Good as new afterwards!

Yup! I use denture/retainer cleaning tablets too to clean my coils sometimes--very gentle and effective. I just recommend getting the unflavored kind--unless you like minty flavors. :D

Some of the bad coffees have this horrid aftertaste that also leaves a lingering taste in tanks too. I know because when I first started vaping it took me dozens of vendors before I found some descent coffee Vapes. The taste in the bad ones could literally wake the dead. Horrible, gross, overpowering and just rancid.

Ewwwwwwwwwww.......... really?

That's nasty. I knew that cinnamon, clove and some very strong menthols can be difficult to get rid of, but coffee? Ouch!

I've been using an apple vinegar soak overnight coupled with a really hot wash afterwards. I tried a sample of a cappuccino e-liquid a buddy gave me, tasted like a sweet burning tire. Yuck.
