YES. I know I have created a new habit...I know its a better habit, but what is wrong with us that we are treating these like a lifeline now and cant put them down? lol
Since I have zero nic most of the time I tell myself its not bad to chew and puff on my pv like I do...its going to all boil down to will power...put it down and walk away from the ecig...I panic when I dont know where it is. Hence my granny glasses holder mod...
Someone say something poignant about why carrying it around with us isn't weird...

Actually I have always called cigarettes Nicotine Binkies. Pissy adult? Give em a cigarette and they shut right up.

Same goes for these except it is something that is always in our mouths. I wouldnt be surprised as to the bacteria that these little plastic cartridges hold.

Hmmmmmmm I think I will santize all of them tonight *paranoid*

Mine are always close at hand - I'll grab either the KB or the SD, take a couple of drags, put it down.....all night long.

In the car, one or the other are ALWAYS in my hand - I'm as close as can get to being a chain-vaper in the car...

At work, they are only used when I have a break - as I can't vape at my desk - so they are in their case.

I figured out that I hit the PV more often because there's no guilt involved - for decades I beat myself up because I couldn't quit smoking - I knew what I was doing to my lungs, and just couldn't give it up.....now I don't have to - I can have my vape and enjoy it, too...and its a very liberating feeling...

I am totally with you all on this thread. It seems to be a constant with me. I suppose I'm afraid of feeling the panic I've felt with patches and gum. The pv just satisfies those cravings that NEVER go away even after being off of analogs for a year or more (in my personal experience).

My goal is to be more like strayling and eventually find independence, but for now this works beyond anything I've tried. Therefore I tend to keep it close to me for re-assurance that it's helping... far beyond anything I've ever tried.

Now I wouldn't want to claim it as a smoking cessation device. That still is up to me and what I do with the nicotine levels. Still, it's not cigarettes. Provided I don't vape till it makes me feel sick I am sure I'm doing my body a favor. I can laugh a good laugh without it turning into a cough half a lung up session. My regained sense of smell is overwhelming at times.

@drunkenmonk, I really don't want to hijack your thread but is that your pug? We've got two and they are crazy and fun and silly and lovingly sweet. I'd love to know your story if you have a pug .... baby in your family!

Anyway, can't... stop... the... vaping. I am currently trying to lower my nicotine content to enjoy the experience further. Me on analogs was suck it all in before its gone. Me on vaping is get the same nicotine but slow down and enjoy the relaxation. I'm confident that I'm not taking in more nicotine based on how my body feels. Just taking it slowly and appreciating the relaxation is worth a lot on its own.

I have GAD or "general anxiety disorder" (therapy and meds, yeah) so anything that can help keep me calm is appreciated. However I suspect that many of us whether having this infliction or not can benefit from anything that helps to relax. Society demands a lot. Whatever is needed or enjoyed :thumb:

chain-vapor. Yup, that's me!

Exactly! My story, too.

yep, pacifier here too. I keep my vapesticks, upside down, in a glass. Take a couple of looonngg drags from one & PUT IT DOWN! Then I stare at it & try to tell myself, "just wait a little, you just had a hit." I'm seriously contemplating putting them (or at least one & hide the rest) outside so I HAVE to get off my .... & earn, the right to vape!
