Weird thing. I kind of miss ashtrays. Not the smell, or the dumping, but it is a handy place to set my 510 or blu down when I'm doing something. I'd like to park it in the corner of my mouth and hold it there with my lips while doing the old one-eye squint, but the batts are too heavy. Chucking it on the counter or desk is just gross...it's not like I'm processing raw chicken on the desktop, but it's still not the most sanitary thing to do. (I don't rub my spoon over the counter before I have a bowl of cereal.)

My PV pretty much lives behind my ear while I'm doing other things with my hands. What does everyone else do with them? Where do you place your PV between tokes when you need both hands to do something?

I keep four 510's going at once with a different flavor in each (I have the atty's numbered). I use a shot glass to set them in. It's small so it doesn't take up much room and it keeps them standing up the way I like to let them sit. I got that tip from someone on this site but I don't remember who (thanks though).

Have fun!

To me, one reason I don't like mods is that they are too big to hold between your teeth, while I can do that with a 510 and even an eGo. Anything bigger than that would not work, though.

What you can use, if you don't have an ashtray, is everything made for pencils, be it trays or cups or …. Or use a lanyard, neat way if you are out and about. Shirt pockets of course also work fine.
And PVs with manual batteries are fairly safe to put down on many places, as they can't roll away; only leaking may be a problem.

I've been thinking of ways to carry my PV during the upcoming summer months. Sure, I carried a pack of analogs and lighter but neither were fragile...or prone to leakage.
I have been scouring flea markets and such for something like a pen case that would easily attach to a belt clip or lanyard. Nothing yet, but that may be my first mod.

Funny you should mention shirt pocket. I slipped my blu in my shirt pocket at work last week for some much needed stealth vaping. The automatic switch on it is pretty sensitive and when I sat down at a meeting, the nice blue LED shone right through my shirt pocket and someone noticed. My company doesn't have a policy on vaping, and I'd like to keep it that way, so I joked that it was just my nipple ring letting me know that it was fully charged.

A cup works great. Better than an ashtray IMO. Because it stays up straight and that way gravity is in your favor. keeps the juice where it needs to be. laying it on its side makes the juice settle that way in my experience (I'm a dripper). I bought a pencil holder at staples that works great.

You know, I smoked analog for nearly 25 years and probably didn't tuck a smoke behind my ear more than a handful of times during all those years. My KR808 has been tucked behind one ear or the other more times than I can count in the last 10 days since I started vaping. I'm sure the lanyard is a great idea for some folks, but I just can't see myself using one. Maybe I'll change my mind as more time goes by. In the meanwhile, I'm open to suggestions.

Not sure what model PV you have...but there is a carry case on cignot.com for the 510 that I'll be snagging on my next juice order. (Sorry, I can't post links...not enough posts on this forum.)
