Can't reply to threads in other sections?

I tried to post a reply to a thread in the social section (Michigan), and can't?

According to the post count rules, I should be able to, so I'm a little confused. Especially since I was able to add my sig the other day, so it's not an issue of the system not noticing I'd hit that 15 count.

Help?

I didn't know about this. Thanks for the help. I'll remember to apply for membership if I plan to post in any of the specific areas of the forum.

Actually, I managed my complete postcount but two, I think, without any of those sub-forums where you have to subscribe to; AFAIK that's only the Social Groups Forum and the National Forums.

You have to have 15 posts before being able to post in other forums. You are at 20 now, so it should work. If not, PM a moderator, like AngusATAT or Sun Vaporer.
