Is it just me or does everyone start to not taste their e-liquids anymore? My first time trying Bobas bounty was Monday night and I was grinning ear to ear while I was watching Luck on HBO and enjoying this juice like I was smoking a fine cigar. The next day it just wasn't the same. Sure it's still good but I can't reproduce that same experience and taste. I've been trying not to vape as much. I was off on Tuesday so I was vaping pretty much non stop all day. Did some stealth vaping today at the office but vaping at home this evening is less than satisfying. I'm almost ready to go back to chewing nicotine gum. Is VG killing taste buds? Maybe I should bust out a fresh atty? Have you guys experienced this and is there anything you do to keep your favorite flavors enjoyable?

I'm using LR attys on an ego-c. Was thinking of trying a LR carto. I have 2 ego batteries loaded up. One with a fruit flavor and the other with a tobacco. Maybe I'm just vaping too much. Been tempted to try a new atty but I installed a new one for Bobas bounty when I got it. The others I've cleaned a few times. Short of vaping pure flavor concentrate I don't know what else to try. I even chewed on some coffee grounds as I recall seeing coffee beans used at perfume counters so customers can distinguish between different scents.

A carto will definitely change things up a bit (you can always go back to that one atty later). Do you only have 2 flavors?

I have more than two juices but only vape 3 regularly as I don't like the others. Not enough flavor. Getting a new flavor tomorrow so we'll see how things go.

Try your new flavor on a cleaned atty before committing to a carto. Atties are easy to clean, cartos not. I sometimes sip diet Pepsi which for some reason cleans my pallet and my juice tastes good again. Actually any liquid will help, sip coffee or water. If all else fails, maybe you need a low resistance carto or VV device. I have my favorite juice in 3 devices, an eGo-T, in a low resistance carto on my VV Box Mod and dripping on an atty on a mini 901. It tastes 100% different on each device!

Going through a spell of that now at one month and had it happen once before. I've noticed it usually happens for me after I've eaten a highly-flavored meal like spaghetti or mexican food which I had this evening. I think the taste buds just get overwhelmed or get tired and take a rest. I mean can't think of any time in my life when they've been constantly stimulated with high flavors like vaping. Shocking them awake with ice water does help though. LOL I just got a visual of a blissfully slumbering little taste bud sleeping a nice soft tongue and a bucket of ice water splashing it awake.... *k, tip toe away.*

It's happened to me. It's happened to a lot of us. From what I understand your taste buds get stressed out and overwhelmed with flavor, especially after you recently stopped smoking. After you quit smoking it takes a little while for your taste buds to fully come alive again. Lot's of good advice out there from other post. Stay hydrated, drink plenty of water. Take a few hits of something strong such as a menthol. Change up delivery device to something different such as a carto, new atty, dripping, whatever. Brush your teeth and use some mouthwash. If all else fails, you will just have to deal with it for a few days. It freaked me out and bummed me out too, but the flavor eventually came back strong after a few days. Stick it out and vape on!
