Hello everyone, hope you're having a wonderful afternoon. Today I just got my Vision Spinner 2 in the mail today from eBay. I know eBay probably isn't the best place to shop for e-cig stuff but sometimes you could get a great deal but I digress. The seller said it was 100% authentic and it did come with a authentication scratch code. The code was not scratched or looked like it was previously used when I opened the box. But when I went to the vision official website to check the code it said the code was checked over 2000 times! Would that mean it could be a fake? Or something else? If anyone could shed some light it would be much appreciated.

I just bought a bunch of vape stuff of ebay and its all ended up as authentic per the manufacturer websites, if it says something like 2000 times for the same # I would think its fake/clone but that dont mean that its total junk. I guess it all boils down to what the ad stated and what you paid. From what I have read there is some top notch clones out there.

I only paid about 18$ for the battery, it does work as intended. If I didn't check I would've never second guessed it being a clone.

That tells me it is counterfeit.

I have no experience with Aspire, but every Kangertech product I have tested came up as authentic. However, I did not buy those products off of ebay.

I have bought an Aspire Nautilus tank as well as some mini coil heads off of ebay this week and they both came back as authentic when I ran the serial #s. It was from two different sellers too.

I got a fake vision spinner for 28$ at a local store. Its fake because they didn't sell it to me in a proper box. (Maybe I'm false accusing…)
I'm using it all right. Im not happy someone fooled me at, I was an ignorant new vaper. And they lost a potential loyal client, I like supporting small business. But it is keeping me off smoking, bottom point.
Next time is going to be better.

I guess it fine as long as it works correctly, what I dont like is when stuff is listed as real deal when it isnt which is fraud in my book. If its a clone then so be it but simply list it as so and the buyer knows exactly what they are getting and leave it up to them to bid or not. I also got in a Innokin VV V3 as a backup mod and while it showed it was real by the serial there was an issue with the screen. I PMd the seller and he promptly sent me another one and that is what being an honest seller is all about when it comes to Ebay. Oh and I have to send the defective one back, not keeping it.

Sorry to hear that, it seems like you could always trust local businesses. It does not feel good knowing you got cheated. :(

An authentic Vision Spinner will have the Vision logo. However, keep in mind that authentic or not all of these devices are mass-produced, so a clone might work just as well. This image was made to compare the Spinner with the Twist, but it shows the logo.

The counterfeiters can duplicate absolutely everything except the S/N. They can do holograms, scratch-panels, the lot. They could even do unique serial numbers if they could be bothered to. What they cannot do is invent serial numbers that fool an on-line checking app., because the manufacturer can put all sorts of mathematical trickery into that to make sure only real ones are accepted.

I wish the counterfeiters did not bother. There is a market for cheap copies; they don't need to confuse the market by replicating trademarks.
