+1 on the VP-1 charger. really like this one. and so far it flawlessly charges all my batteries to exactly 4.20v if I forget and they sit for a while it holds them at 4.19v.
like most xtar chargers being able to charge in the car is a nice feature as well

Yes to all of this. I have forgotten batteries twice and man that is one sweet safety feature. I have not used the car charger, but it is nice to have that contingency/back up option. It matches my NIS calibrated Fluke 333 True RMS meter perfectly as far as battery voltages that I have checked.

This does look nice.
They don't show the bottom of the bottom plate. Is it different than the Protank 2? Less air venting hopefully??

I found out the answer to my question!!!

Here is a pic from the HealthCabin website of the bottom of the Hypertank...

None of those pesky vents on the bottom like the Protank 2.

Yay.

I just ordered 2!

For me.

I have my order list all ready to go. A few hypertanks, extra battery and a charger. I was thinking of an extension cap and a 18650 battery but it's best if I wait. My husband isn't thrilled with my vaping habit. When I started I told him how much less I would be spending. He keeps asking when I am going to stop. Honestly, I don't know what to tell him. I enjoy it and it's keeping me from smoking. I have already cut my nic level from 24 to 12 since I started. I have one ITaste and some tanks and don't spend more than $20 a month on juice. His reaction to a Provari and some glass tanks will be less than favorable. But hey, at least he doesn't know how much a Provari costs.

My lovely has been sitting in a drawer for weeks now. Just two more days and I can put in my orders. Then I can stalk tracking numbers online. :D

Sorry for trimming your post. Wanted to focus on this part because I get this a lot.
Next time your husband asks that question, Reply by touching him on the arm and saying, "Sweetheart. I want you to know how much I love you and how much I appreciate you supporting my decision to quit smoking."
Make sure the comment is laced with sarcasm. Big smile on your face. Then just walk away. Hopefully, he'll get the picture.

I have performed this little act before and I am sure I will have to again. He is supportive yet holds out hope this won't go on forever. Frankly I don't really want it to go on indefinitely. It would be a great feeling to not have to plan around my vaping. 'Do I have enough juice? Is this tank good enough? Will my battery last all day?' He would just like a timeline and I am not comfortable with giving one. I am doing this at MY pace and it won't work if I feel pressure to go at anyone else's. Besides, when he gives me grief about my vape gear and juice I comment on all the radios he has and doesn't use. If he presses me further I then resort to talking about all of the old computers we have that were supposed to be use for some 'project' that was never finished

my wife vaped for two years everyday. then less and less, then she only vaped zero nic. Now she only does it when we are doing some serious drinking or something tragic happens. I haven't seen her use one in months. I started her vaping and she was succesful, I was not.
I am back on the path.
Good luck getting him to understand.

Good luck to you on your path. There are times he is frustrated with my vaping and calls my PV 'the electronic binky'. I then remind him that my oral fixation benefits him in other ways. ;)
