Can't Use new SS GGTS

Hey everybody, just got my new TMF a little while ago. Did everything like Imeo says, wash, vaseline threads, clean contacts etc. (new users heed) Put it together like all my other GGTS - Hits like a hammer the way it's suppose to. For all getting their first one. Do as Imeo says, after doing that, then use different things on the threads, contact points, if you feel the need.

The finish is even a little better than the last - the engravings are beautiful - That's why I can't take it to work tomorrow and use it. Wouldn't think of goofing up the finish or the engravings. Imeo - another winner. Note the bottom brass in pic. It's so shiny it's mirroring the wood of the railing.

This one is now relegated for home use only.

I haven't taken my SSggts out of the house either. I wish I could of got a 'tmf' one in SS but my aluminum one will do just fine.

I received mine a week ago and it is still in the black pouch, just took it out to look it the number and reported it on the serial numbers thread. So beatiful that I dont know how to use it.

Yeah, but it's GG Bubble Wrap (GGBW). It pops louder and harder than other bubble wraps
Seriously, i don't know how people can buy a GG and not use it. Reminds me of people who buy classic sports cars, and then trailer them around to car shows. theyre meant to be used, not displayed.
Anyways, thats just my € 0.02. GG owners are free to do as they please, I know i wouldnt be able to just look at it!

Clavit, I think you are misunderstanding, Dspin will be using his new ssggts plenty but only while at home, he has plenty of other ggts's that he can take out of the house to get banged up.

It most definitely does not need to be babied but when you have multiples then why not designate one for home use only to keep that finish close to flawless. I take number 047 with me everywhere while number 333 stays at home.

Seriously, though, the GG products are functional art. Their true beauty is only maximized when used and beheld. What good is a priceless work if never seen?

Thats true, but since I have three, the new one will have to stay at home. I already had a buffoon drop my #20 at the airport and put a small scratch on it. That's the only time ANYONE is allowed to touch them - Airport security. My relatives wanted to pick them up while on vacation. I said go ahead, drop one and you bought it. They never did touch them. I'm very .... over that.

Thanks Major, got it back earlier in July as a pre-vacation gift. Vapes great and I wish I had bought one when they first came out. Every GGTS owner needs a UFS and Iatty, that's for sure.

I see mine and me seeing them is all I care about. I'm WAY more .... about mine than dspin. lol
